I just kept doing the outrun races and one of the guys gave it me. robertobaggio2k its not like nfsu1, if you trade your car you lose everything

i've been trying to figure out how do i initiate a race, in explorer mode?, i found some of the oponents but i follow them, all they do it turn on their rear lights on to signal me or something but nothing happens no race, how can i start racing?
