Oh gimme a freakin' break man. Its way too early in the thread for this garbage. You could've kept all that to yourself., keeping this thread a bit more positive. Go make an anti halflife2 thread or something.

Im giving the random images a try now using a few diff bits of code, cant rmemeber how i change sprites about again lol

UPDATE :

Now scrolls thru 3 diff images fading into each :) Zip Updated

I never played the first one, but this one looks spectacular. I am actually looking forward to seeing how much more fun this is than Doom3. I am hoping HL2 is going to be much easier to see things, meaning I hope the whole environment is not so dark.

In regards to Gamespot's reviews of HL2 and H2:

More was written on dual-wielding than was on manipulator. That alone says it all. Even a buddy of mine who never played FPS before's jaw dropped upon seeing the manipulator in action. Dual-wielding is just like having one gun, only doubled. It's a nice feature, but THEY DON'T COMPARE.
And it's a really good point, too. I'm really starting to wonder about them...

HAHA Thought it was funny that they had Windows 3.1 as an OS on there. Damn and I was hoping to play HL2 on Windows 3.1 :unsure:

      Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?

      It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.

      Outlook classic is inherently better than new outlook, for a number of reasons. That said, if the only reason people need office is to read email, they should just use thunderbird.
