I like the idea of rating threads, but I don't like that you have to click what you want to vote, then wait for the "Thanks for voting, please wait while we transfer you" page to finish (or click on the link, but that's annoying :p ).. It might not seem like much time to most of you, but it really makes me not want to vote on a thread when im done reading it.. maybe if it was an iframe, where when you clicked it, it would only refresh the ifram and not the whole page? then we could vote, and still read the thread at the same time..

i dunno, just a small little annoyance that really bothers me for some reason..

I agree something is better than nothing but I don't like empty stars.  I think the grey background looks kinda cheesy.

That grey background is IE's inability to properly render transparent PNGs. I'll have to convert it to a GIF or PNG-8.

Excuse me as I have not read this entire thread but are these really needed? As I look around the forum, I see very few "rated" threads. I think it takes up good space on this great forum. Just my .02 cents.

Then I guess teh obvious next question here is: Are you rating the threads? It only takes 5 for the results to show up. I rate just about every thread I read, if you do too, then we only need 3 more members to get an official rating on the front...

That's another thing, I usually do not take the time to rate since I usually scan or search for most of my info. Even if they were all rated, it wouldn't really hinder whether I read a thread or not.

Why don't we just show the rating with just one vote ? there really isn't much statistical difference between the first and the fifth vote, furthmore, it'll probably encourage people to vote. We can assume that the author will probably give themself a rank of 5, if the next reader strongly disagrees with that rank, then the rank will average out in time.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
