Sorry Blizzard lost out already in my book. When my play card runs out in 8 days that'll be it for me. I haven't played WoW in about 2 weeks and don't intend to anytime soon. This patch adds nothing of interest for me, and it seems Blizzard doesn't want to fix underlying issues anyways. So bleh on Blizzard.

I'm just sick of Blizzard only thinking about High-level Players.

For the rest of us, it's usually "Will be added later on ..."

Honor System .. For High-levels

Battlegrounds ... ^^ ( Lower level Battlegrounds to be "added later on" ... )

I don't see the fun in WoW anymore, i'll give it a chance sure but ... They really gotta pull themselfs together!

just get level hax, i obviously have those too :pp

yeah, I don't really think they implemented the honor system correctly....When theres HUGE groups of people pvping any mage can just run in and aoe, then run away and wait for everyone to die and its easy points, got about 90 points in a short time :

I think the reason there's not a lot of changes being made for low and mid-level areas is the fact that it doesn't take long at all to get to level 60. You can reach the cap with about 9 to 16 days of /played time, so it's not that big of a deal at all compared to other games. I'd like to see some more low and mid-level content, though, because I make new characters very often and I'm getting tired of the same old thing.

On another note, any Alliance players that don't know about the Chicken quest in Westfall should try it out. Go to Saldean's Farm and spam /chicken while targeting on of the chickens. Eventually it will turn into a friendly NPC that you will be able to talk to, giving you a quest to get feed. You buy the feed from Saldean and take it back to the chicken, who will lay an egg. The egg summons a Prairie Chicken that will follow you around as a pet.

How dual wielding works? I already trained the skill with a weapon master and now I have two weapons. But when I fight I just do damage with the one in the main haid

585800001[/snapback]

What weapon are you using in the main hand and in the off-hand? If they're both daggers (for example), obviously they're using the same skill points. If one is a dagger and the other is, let's say, an axe, you've also gotta have skill points in 1H axes for it to do any damage. Checking the combat logs helps when you're seeing something weird going on, such as this.

Keep in mind the main hand weapon does full damage whereas the off-hand weapon only does 50% damage. DW also has a chance of missing 50% of the time (or something like that).

Plus if you aren't a rogue, you won't be getting melee bonuses, so if you're a DW'ing hunter, it's probably more beneficial to use 2H weaps (that benefit your ranged attack as well, since if you're a hunter you should be focusing on ranged in the first place).

Hope that helps.

I started playing around like 8 EST, so it was kind of late for me. Right when i logged on (i was camped in xroads) i couldn't nove for 3 minutes. When i finally could move i noticed the latency was over 2K.... yea. Then i walk out and notice over 200 alliance/horde fighting like hell. I really wanted to get to the killin, but i was only 32, and all of them were ?? to me. But i got into a raid group and thought "hey this will be good, i will get some kills now"... wrong, everytime we would go to do something, half the people would leave or just do nothing, so i opnly ended up with 14 honor kills :( . But anyway, i really like the concept for the PvP awards now, but i wish they would make the servers able to handle it better. Anyone else have some stories to tell?

If you have a class that has a DoT or AoE you can get TONS of Honorable Kills by doing any type of damage to the opposing faction. I chose Tarren Mill/Southshore to rack up some HKs yesterday. As a lvl 31 Priest, I ended up with 400 HKs after fighting for a few hours. I just continuously threw DoTs on people and backed up to heal myself. I was also fighting almost all lvl ?? people, encountering only about 10 people under lvl 40 during the battle.

Honor System is a misnomer. You get the most honorable kills for murdering in the most dishonorable ways.

People are racking up hundreds of kills by 40-man raiding poor level 50s questing in Felwood. If you haven't hit 60 by now, I'd build some rested xp until they fix this "honor" system if I were you.

If people thought getting ganked one on one or two on one was bad, try taking on an entire raid that collectively does 10,000 damage per second.

Raids are not going to give as many contribution points, which is vital. The key is to work in 5 man groups for real gain.

P.S.

Just got my Paladin Epic Charger tonight. :woot:

i dont have any AoE spells yet as a hunter. I believe i get volley around 40, but by then i dont think people wil be doing as much PvP. i can just shoot arrows from a distance and DoT them, but whenever i get close it lags so bad i cant even target anything.

LOL last night was a crazy night In wow i was on my 27 warlock in stockads workin on some quest with a PUG . <--- shiver's guild was all busy with other things so from the start i tell them im getting Hit with really bad thunderstorms and i might do LD all said ok . about 1/2 thou my cable drops me hard takes me 10 min to get my connection back i get back in and i guess the group got owned to argo < in the stockads argo is very easy > i start getting whispers from the group saying i was an ###### for going LD and i made the group break up

should i feel bad for LDing and casuseing the group to get killed ? i DID tell them fromt eh start i was getting hammered with storms and i might get dropped

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
