I just started going on Molten Core, and I've already seen several epic armor drops from only sucessfully killing one boss(Luficfron.) I'm on a relatively new server, so everyone is still learning MC. From what I've seen so far, fighting two bosses the Paladins are a very essential role in Molten Core(as are pretty much all classes.) For Lucifron they are needed to Cleanse the DoTs off people repeatedly. For Magdamar, they are used to pull him using their Divine shield. I'd suggest to you just grinding to lvl 60, it seems to be the fastest way. At that point you can hopefully arrange a trip to Molten Core.

Nice.. Thanks for the info. How many people are needed in the RAID? 40? How long is the Instance to finish? I hopeing to hit 60 by next week.

Yes 40, perhaps less if everyone is skilled. It's a multiday instance though meaning your progress will be saved for 6 days I think. There are a lot of bosses there and just getting to and beating the first one can take a good 4-6 hours depending on how efficient you are.

Yeah, the instance is saved for six days. It took our raid group of about 38 people about eight hours to kill Lucifron, starting from organizing the raid and waiting for everyone to arrive. That was our first time, and we had a fluctuating raid count, as people came and left. I think by the time we got to Lucifron we had about 36 people, lvl 55 and higher, but 60 for the most part. Here's what dropped from Lucifron:

We also got this from one of the standard mobs in there: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=37351

The dagger has a badass lime green glow.

You'll find out that you need a unique strategy to attack each boss and some of the mobs, so it's worth reading up and planning ahead, making sure everyone understands what's going on.

Well, found this pretty shady deal:shifty::

Got a level 30 warrior with 80g ...

Bought my First Phantom blade for 25g and sold it for 40 ... Did this twice:whistle::

Nice. Yea on my server (windrunner) Phantom blades are always in the AH. Mostly going for 30-40g... and there usually is about 5 of them.... I have about 530g at the moment.. was up to 580 but damn the upgrades on my paladin are about 4g a piece.:

Anyone know what instance drops the most Plate? Other than Molten Core...

Last night I tired to get into Upper Blackrock Spire but no one had the key... How the hell do you get that??? I heard it was hard... :pinch:

y would you think that MC drops a lot of plate?

most instances after Uldaman probably drop plate

...ummm

the key for UBRS can be found in LBRS

u have to loot 3 gems and the container for them

not sure if the drops are random or off certain mobs tho

    • Thank god they got rid of the disgusting looking sidebars, and the corner radius looks much better, too. Two things I hated on day one, and never got used to.
    • JetBrains launches Rider 2026.2 EAP 5, bringing several AI improvements by David Uzondu JetBrains has released the fifth EAP version of Rider 2026.2, bringing a faster startup flow with the new non-modal startup screen and quality-check hooks for Claude Code and Codex. In the latest EAP release, Rider now has newly bundled "quality-check" hooks that run background tests on code edits before the external agent proceeds. For example, after Claude Code rewrites a class, Rider immediately triggers a PostToolUse hook that analyzes the code for syntax errors and formatting warnings. It then passes those findings back to the model as feedback, allowing the agent to fix its own output before finalizing the task. If Rider detects compilation errors, the IDE prevents the agent from treating the task as complete, while minor formatting warnings simply help guide the model toward better output. The "Explain with AI" feature can now tackle tricky build errors directly from the console, helping .NET developers who frequently wrestle with multi-targeting failures and MSBuild errors. JetBrains introduced Explain with AI back in the 2024.1 release cycle. With this feature, instead of forcing developers to copy long diagnostics into a separate chat window, Rider now lets you trigger these explanations directly from the error source. In similar EAP news, JetBrains recently opened the first EAP for IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, with features that appeal to both those who are into AI-assisted coding and those who prefer "classic" manual development. For manual developers, the release adds revamped dependency completion for Maven and Gradle build scripts, which pulls data directly from the local cache to suggest relevant versions. It also brings the Spring Debugger update, displaying security indicators next to endpoints to visualize secured routes during runtime. In addition to database migration tools for Flyway and Liquibase, this build introduces a Hibernate debugger that shows the exact SQL or HQL queries that the framework plans to execute, letting developers jump directly to the Java code that triggered them.
