WARNING: First of all, I don't know wether what I'm trying to do is legal or not. If its not, just tell me and I'll forget about the whole thing.

Now, onto my question. I currently own WoW, and love it. However, Im trying to cut back on some costs, and letting go of the motnly fee would be great. I want to know, is there some way I could play on a different server? One that is free? A friend of mine told me it could be done by changing some realmlist file or something :s If it is possible to do that, would I be able to transfer my character? Or would I have to create a new one? Thanks!

Im thinking no as soon as i saw that

its illegal to play wow on emulators and blizzard does try and keep the emulator sites shut down.

as for instances, DM has some pretty good loot there. I got the unyelding maul for my druid, great for bear form. it has 250ac and +12 stamina and +12 defense. Most of the really good gear though comes from MC/Onyxia or tons and i do mean tons of pvp. Thing is though in the coming patch blizzard is changing a lot of set items. for example the druid epic sets from MC/onyxia are almost all Int/Sta/Spi now and mostly fire resist. before though they were much more of a hybrid set. I think they are doing this to make the pvp sets a lot different from the caster sets. PvP set is for feral druids, PvE is for balance/Restoration druids.

Can someone tell me why i need to enter a Credit Card number to play with a 10-days guest pass key?? :

Just enter any random number. It works.:pp

[edit] Has to be the same length as a real cc number. And those special 2 first or last numbers must be the same in the area bellow the cc number (forgot its name).

I've played the US, Korea and EU betas of WoW. And I've played it since the retail launch in Europe. It has been a great game for me, but its time to stop now.

I have a few reasons though. The main one beeing you just DONT have anything to do at lvl 60. If you guys find doing instances over and over and over again till you get all your equipment up fun then sry, i dont. PvP used to be good and fun. But when the honor system came there has been a complete war out there. I normally used to help some alliance when they were in trouble or when another mob aggroed em. Now i just find it easyer to kill em instead of helping them. And many other people do the same.

There have been allot of bugs with stealth (yeah I'm playing a UD rogue) since the earliest US betas. They are still not fixed. Paging a GM just isnt an option for any kind of problem. I've made at least 10 tickets and by the time any of them have been looked at I either solved the problem myself or just moved on and ignored the quest/quest line.

While WoW is young, and has potential atm its not giving me enough reasons to continue my subscription.

Another big thing is that I used to have time to play games all day, which has changed now. And in WoW, you just CANT do anything at lvl 60 under at least around 4 hours straight (talking about instances here). Questing at lvl 60 makes no sense anyway since you dont need the xp and items are crap anyway. PvP is fun, but its getting boring since its just TM and whole day forth and back.

As on most servers, we're outnumbered and the alliance has the upper hand most of the time. But we still are able to push em back.

Lately I've seen allot of lvl 60 ppl who have just about NO clue what exactly they are doing. You can see that a rogue bought his account right away if he at lvl 60 doesnt know about talents and builds..

Anyone who plays WoW, should never look on the forum. That was probably my biggest mistake. I've seen allot of trolls on various forums on the internet, but what you find there is just unbeatable. You actually have to try to find someone normal, who wont tell you to get the **** lost when you ask about a certain talent build or quest in a topic.

Anyways, the game was great fun till lvl 60. Also tryed the new Battlegrounds on the test servers. Cant say I'm impressed.

Did i mention LAG?!

Might come back in a few months to check it out again, till then.. sry to all those poor souls that i ganked.

(Warlocks really need a huge buff, havent been killed by one for months )

Can i have your stuff :D ( I had to say that )

But i do agree with the "Anyone who plays WoW, should never look on the forum. That was probably my biggest mistake. Seriously, those Forums are a JOKE! people who are looking for a laugh go see for yourself :-S

"OMG NERF TEH ROGUE AND THE SHAMMAN" Seems to be the "hit" now, they also found some lame ArtPad website where they create new threads all the time to show their drawings.

Those boards are concerned about Nerf the Rogue/shaman, Blizzard tech support sucks and warriors sucks....

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. • Exciting! It’s amazing how hearing Japanese can naturally enhance the perceived quality of any experience or product.
    • Your other comment in another article says otherwise, namely "Microsoft veteran wants to replace every single line of C/C++ code with Rust and AI".
    • Sued and... exonerated. Oh, they learned a lesson alright. They learned that anyone who uses the word "antiturst" in conjunction with "Microsoft" is an idiot, even if that person is Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson. That judge ruined the image of the US justice system. Microsoft Edge has a 5.14% market share. Also, Windows is no longer the #1 OS. None of this constitutes a monopoly. Google Chrome, however, has 70.25% share. Also, Google's Android is the #1 OS. Now that's closer to a monopoly.
