hey wassup guys. hey got a hunter question. .. which is a better animal to get? Broken tooth which spawns every 8 hrs or king bhang or any elite animals. i am a lvl 48 hunter and i have already tamed broken tooth.

Doesn't really matter. What you want is damage and since interrupts are on diminishing return you won't really benefit from a mad fast attack speed in PVP and not at all in PVE. Furthermore, as you progress through the game your pet will not scale damagewise with you and will start to lose aggro faster if you're grinding. What you need to cancel that is... more damage. Basically, any cat will do.

If you're not grinding and doing instances instead, obviously your pet won't draw aggro from your MT... so just throw in some more damage.

If you're PVPing your pet won't even be on the list of viable targets for your foes. Damage damage damage!

Edit: The scaling part was meant for endgame content. You will get more and better equipment, your pet will still be as nude as the day you tamed him/her. ;)

Anyway, How are people doing in Naxx? I havn't been there yet as a raid, but my guild has just killed Nefarian.. may not sound that special, but we're the first guild on the realm to do so!

My guild has been to Naxx on a few occasions and came to the realization that we need to get the gear from AQ40 before we attempt it. We are all mostly tier2 gear, and can finish BWL in 4 hours, but it's just not enough for Naxx. If you are going to attempt it you MUST have really good gear on everyone.

Yeah i can understand that. Ah well.. long way away for us, still AQ20 and 40 to look forward to though!

Not true. It can be done with 1/4 of the raid in full T1. With my last guild we downed 1st spider boss (name evades me), 1% wipe on instructor and got a good attempt out on the widow and plaguebringer bosses.

AQ40 is dire imo for profit/loss. The loot really isn't that grand either.

Can someone explain to me the general idea of a MMORPG? I loved WarCraft III and would like to try this one out.

From what I can gather, you meet up with a bunch of people. Now, when you join a clan (party, whatever) do you all set out on the same quest and fight the same enemies? Are there quests designed specifically for parties (meaning they require 5+ players to beat)? I realize these are pretty general and rookie questions...gotta start somewhere I guess

Thanks.

In WoW (World of Warcraft), what you call "clans" are reffered to as Guilds.

Yes, they are pretty much End Game guilds (wolf pack) or more lathargic style (helpful and having fun.)

Not to say the Wolf packs, rofl, are not having fun.

I def reccomend this game, especially if you liked the WC3 Lore and gameplay. Reason is that you get to become one of your peon's basically, and emerse yourself even more in the world that we Blizz fans do SO love. <3

Just watch out for those :shiftyninja:

am i the only guy on earth under 25 with an internet connection who neither uses myspace.com nor plays WoW?

lol, mann... if I had a quater for every person who said that.

Your one of those 'in the closet" users. Otherwise you would have not posted in a WoW thread.

rofl, don't deny it! :shiftyninja:

Question, I have my engineering at 225 and have specialised in goblin engineering but could someone tell me where to find the trainer to allow me to get my engineering up to 300? I'm playing horde.

Orgrimmar.

See info here: http://www.wowwiki.com/Trainers

37-45

Now it's on to the Badlands, where you get to deal with 8billion coyotes running all over, and earth elementals on every single border :) Nah, it is a pretty good zone, with some good quests. Miners will love it because there is a ton of ore to be had here, mostly iron, some silver/gold/mithril. You can also head to Tanaris at some point, where there are another good supply of quests. Ooops, almost forgot Grom'Gol in stranglethorn vale. A huge amount of quests here, including 1 for a 14 slot bag at level 36. Make sure you don't skip this area, lots of great stuff here. Almost forgot Feralas as well. Not a lot of quests here, but it is an absolutely gorgeous zone. There is 1 long questline that ends with an amazing weapon, no matter what your class (4 to choose from).

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/questlevels.html - Intresting never knew about that.

Just some guide, when searched for 'Horde Leveling Guide' I dunno much about the horde side yet, still trying to finish my alliance character in good gear, then I'll start a horde toon.

Anyone now which ISP's were affected in the last little WoW news today? Everytime I start to play WoW I get disconnected and my cable box loses the cable light and it'll come back on, I'll surf the internet it's fine and once I start to play WoW again it screws up. So anyone now which ISP's were the ones affected? I'm on Road Runner (time warner cable).

depends on the class

my lock and mage had no trouble there at 49 50

Most of the quests in there are for level 52-53 mobs. How many partial and full resists did you get?

I my self when leveling a toon tend to go for somewhere with mobs that are 1 to 2 levels below. Unless there is a quest which gives a great deal of XP for very little effort (see hot springs quest in Ungoro).

that how you play that not how i play :D

Question:

For my friend..

He has a problem: After playing few mins, or during fight, it scrambles then freezes. Have to reboot. He could play few hours just out of luck, but at MOST, he can play only few minutes before it freezes.

New drivers and all drivers updated..is this possibly ram or video card gone bad?

lemme know what you think....

    • no thanks is overpriced and its not the fastest ram neither.
    • It is, but it also has a bad performance reputation even on high-end gaming PCs. Some people say it's the engine's fault, others say it's the games developers' fault, who knows... At the end of the day, for the average gamer, the take is this: PC game with Unreal Engine 5? Be affraid and cross your fingers, it's a 50/50 chance.
    • 25th anniversary Xbox Series X unveiled with classic translucent green design by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The Xbox Games Showcase had a new Xbox console reveal from Microsoft celebrating the gaming brand turning 25 years old. This is to be a new limited edition Xbox Series X and controller collection that draws on the design of the rare green version of the original Xbox console. The "XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition" is coming out later this year with its matching controller. "Inspired by the look and feel of the original XBOX console, both the console and controller feature a translucent OG Green design, with subtle tributes to the journey we’ve been on together," said Microsoft in the announcement. The Xbox Series X|S line has received several new variants over the years, but this will be the first edition with a translucent design. The Xbox Series X25 will have one terabyte of internal storage and a green light on the X to signify the console lines' history. There is a 25th anniversary logo printed on the front plate. Microsoft is also teasing that the community will be able to find "a few hidden surprises throughout" the machine as well. As for the new X25 Special Edition Xbox controller, this is also coming with the classic translucent green design for its front and back plates. "From the original ABXY colors, to the timeless green, every detail calls back to the beginning, including the bumpers honoring the original black and white buttons on the original “Duke” controller," says the company about this release. "The back case and battery door are fully transparent, revealing the classic XBOX logo." The XBOX 25th anniversary collection, containing both the translucent console and controller, will be available for purchase in November 2026 as a limited-edition release. Microsoft will be offering the new XBOX Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition separately as well. Pricing details and pre-order information will be coming later.
