I think I'm starting to get over WoW again (for the second time). I don't really feel the urge to play as soon as I wake up in the morning any more.

I'm on the completely other end of the spectrum. I've lapsed and back to playing my mage to see if I can get back in to a guild ready for the BC release.

I'm getting that now too.. I took a week off, and now.. i just don't have the urge anymore. I have been playing like non stop since Feb though, just WoW and nothing else.. Maybe a break is in order. I just don't want to miss out on much really, the guild im in is progressing really fast at the moment. Last week i missed out on the killing of 2 new bosses :(

use winzip to unzip it, not winrar

I've always just used the extraction tool built into Windows Explorer. I have ExtractNow to handle rar files and files other than zip or bin, but I downloaded it and extracted it that way and had no issues at all.

On the topic of the game, I'm a level 27 Undead mage on Lothar realm. Character name is Gerowen, and I'm an officer of the guild, "Snakes on a Zeppelin". I'm getting to the point where, it takes noticably longer to level up than it has. Like I need 38k exp for the next level, :p.

Help me pick BC warlock build

So here are a few of the builds I'm contemplating:

Lasting Affliction / Nether Protection - DoTs resist being dispelled, do approx 30% more dmg with lasting affliction, nuke hard with nightfall/ruin/immolate/conflag. Basically IWIN against priests/mages/warlocks because of nether protection.

Unstable Affliction / Demonic Embrace / Shadowburn - Basically godlike dots, improved howl of terror for improved fearlocking abilities, shadowburn/nightfall for lil' extra instant cast nukage. Basically this is a great build for support pvping or 1v5 fights - "DOT everything, Keep em all feared, they can't do much about dots, you probably die cuz your 1v5, but everyone else dies too because 4dots each = no possible way to survive when unstable affliction/lasting affliction basically guarantees the inability to decurse.

Godmode - Soullink + Nether Protection... ruin for decent nuking, but the meat and potatoes of this build is {+15% chance to crit with searing pain} + {100% crit dmg with destro spells} + {bloodguard gloves [50% chance to resist interruption with searing pain]} = warlocks highest threat ability has a 120% chance of not losing casting time meaning a warlock that tanks better than a warrior, especially for fire/shadow dmg dealing bosses.

AOE Stunlock - Heavy destro build. Master of 1v1 and 1vALL. Seduce + 3-4nuke kill any opponent. OR Sac your VW for a 5-6k shield (assumed at lvl 70) Shadowfury (2s aoe stun) then hellfire (25% chance to stun for 3s, atk speed 1 per second - also aoe)

So many choices, so little G.

it is if you play wow a lot

or if it wasnt such a crappy photo-chop job

Agreed, anyone that has played WoW for a while would soon realise that the barrens is full of that kinda chat.

The actual picture wasn't done by myself was on a thread I found on here a while back

    • Ninja Theory's new Hellblade game is action-focused and set in Purgatory by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Ninja Thery has been building its award-winning Hellblade series since 2017, delivering Senua's Sacrifice and Senua's Saga since then. Today at the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, the studio had a brand-new installment announcement featuring Senua again, but this time, she is in a version of purgatory, and the focus is on the action. Simply named Senua, this new entry is described as a "full-on action-adventure" experience, delivering an expanded focus on combat, puzzle-solving, and freedom of exploration. The developer says that it is keeping the same high production values and storytelling features of the previous games while giving what players have been asking for in the gameplay department. The entirety of Ninja Theory is now working on Senua, giving the project much more manpower than ever before, while also letting the team draw on its action roots from Devil May Cry and prior titles. However, the studio also confirmed that its previously announced Project Mara horror experience is no longer in development. Alongside snappier traversal moves, Senua will be able to take stealth and direct combat routes. She has access to her own sword, plus any enemy weapons as well, with dual wielding also being an option for most dropped melee swords, axes, and other weapons. Outside of melee combat, Senua will be able to use special abilities that let her alter the reality around her. The world is said to be about twice the size of Hellblade 2. While this won't be an open-world experience, the linear story will let players explore their surroundings further than before. The story of Senua will be set after the events of previous Hellblade titles, with our protagonist being stuck in her own version of Purgatory. The series' well-explored psychosis themes will return as well. "She’s trapped between life and death on a quest to reach the afterlife and be reunited with the ones that she’s loved and lost," adds the studio. "Her belief is that by healing the wounds of her life, she can find the peace that is the key that unlocks the gate to the afterlife." Senua is releasing on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2027.
    • Windows has had it, it's called camera frame server. I recall when it was first introduced in an early Windows 10 release it caused issues and there was a registry entry to disable it. Seems like they disabled it by default at some point. Windows 11 brought that toggle to the settings app (not just registry) a while ago.
    • You didn't like Mafia The Definite Edition? As a fan of the first when it came out, I liked that remake.
