Another good mod site that i use more then CurseGaming these days is http://ui.worldofwar.net

I got so many alts over various server, but none of them are above level 20. I love my 60 mage way too much and find myself always playing as him, even if i'm not doing much.

my new toy i got lastnight

The latest South Park episode is soooooooooo funny.

All WOW fans need to see it smile.gif

That episode is the reason i have decided to buy the game, i ordered it yesterday and it should be with me in a few days. Am i right in thinking Burning Crusade will be out in november?

Hunter talents and spells are up on the wow website.

And really .... did the hunters really need another way to kill casters.

Yep. :D

Also, hunter tips don't just include "send pet, shoot, rinse and repeat." Hunters have to learn kiting, not using their pet, stinging, light melee, etc. Send pet and shoot isn't gonna work when you're doing the Rhok'delar quest. Try and even use your pet, and the demon despawns. :p

duh but 90% of all hunter are just farmer toons for peoples alts  so yes send pet and shoot sums it up

( and i have a 60 hunter )

Doesn't make that the definition of the Hunter class. Just makes it the de facto standard for the people that can't actually play the class correctly. A good hunter is far different from a farmer hunter.

Yeah you FD and place traps more often. As well as firing the odd tranq shot...

*runs* :D

 All you other classes are just jealous because we can rip you all apart now.

Traps that can placed in combat, Silencing Shot, and Steady Shot...

Never had a problem with T2 Hunters on my Mage (1 vs 1) my self. Then again I haven't dueled a hunter in ages. **** poor way to judge PvP skill. I can't wait for the gladiator arena my self. My 3v3 is group is going to tear through my battlegroup! :p

 All you other classes are just jealous because we can rip you all apart now.

don't forget the nerf to agility/attack power. 1agi will not equal 2 AP...it will be 1:1. attack power from agility is being halved.

However, Hunter items are being reworked to compensate for requiring both Attack Power and Agility. Plus, with the lack of Agi on our items now, we're not losing crit and doge because they require less Agi per % now. Really, it's not nerfing us at all.

Now .... you've been able to rip us apart before. Hunters needed NO new abilities. They are already more powerful than they need to be.

Lots of BC-Warlock talent change... I've already discussed most of the nerfs on the blizzard forums and don't much feel like talking about them here. In any case, I was really considering going all out affliction, but they nerfed that tree so much that it's not worth it anymore. Nether Protection got a bit of a nerf, but the destro tree was already powerful, so it was needed.

ANYWAYS, new warlock talent just recently popped up:

BACKLASH 3/3 - Increases your critical strike chance with spells by an additional 3% and gives you a 25% chance when hit by a physical attack to reduce the cast time of your next Shadow Bolt or Incinerate spell by 100%. This effect lasts 8 sec and will not occur more than once every 8 seconds.

Probably the best Pre-BC PVP build was Nightfall/Conflag because it gave you the most amount of instant casts. Now we have Nightfall/Backlash - Nether Protection to give us a good upper-hand on all but nature casters, nightfall + backlash + soulleech + ruin for HUGE nuking power... spammable shadowbolts that will have upwards of a 30% crit chance after gear. Then I get 6% of the damage I deal from those nukes back in health. Basically 250-500hp back on 30% of my nukes. Will make for an ever more devastating lock. NVM having siphon life, instant corruption some nice additional instant casts.

I was really looking forward to diversifying into 41point talent but it looks like blizzard figured being able to hold-your-own with diversified builds was too powerful and they nerfed the higher end talents into the ground. Full affliction spec, before the nerfs you could buff your dots to be inreased by 50-80% damage increase. Now you can only buff 10-25% damage increase... and to get that you have to give up 30-50% damage increase to nukes... no thanks. GG blizz

Does blizzard still have the premotion going on that they give you a trial key and if your person signs up fully then you get a free month? If they don't does someone have a trial key that they can give to me?

Yes, I'm doing it right now. However, I don't have a key to give you.

Naw, if you play hardcore, you can be 60 in a month. If you can't devote every waking minute to power leveling, 2-3 months you should have a 60 if you keep a good pace up. Burning Crusades will probably come out pretty quickly, but that's only another 10 levels. If you can raise a 60 before BC comes out, you'll be on par with everyone else.

As well, the funnest thing to do IMO, is join a brand new server when it opens up. That way your leveling with everyone else, and you'll never have problems finding groups for instances around your level.

cheers for the adivce enrich, I went and purchased it anyway when I realised how cheap it was, not sure if I can see myself paying to play the game after the included month, but see how I go, I might get intolerably addicted to it yet.

    • KillerPDF 1.4.2 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.4.2 changelog: What's new PDF form filling. Interactive PDF forms now render their fields (text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons) as live controls. Fill them in directly and save — field values are written back into the PDF. PDF outline (bookmark) navigation. A new OUTLINES tab in the sidebar displays the document's bookmark tree. Click any entry to jump to that page. The sidebar auto-fits its width to the longest entry on open and can be dragged wider; switching back to PAGES snaps to the pages-mode width. Fixed Page rotation no longer reverts after saving. Rotations applied via the sidebar context menu now persist correctly through the save pipeline. Copied text words were out of order on PDFs where glyphs are stored in non-reading order (Issue #66). Text extraction now sorts words by position and uses a dynamic line-grouping threshold so both drag-select and Select All produce correctly ordered output. PDFs with malformed or non-standard XRef tables now open in read-only mode instead of showing "Invalid entry in XRef table" and failing entirely. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
