Just got a burning crusade beta key. I'm looking to sell it though as I don't have the time to play.

Don't mention it here, just chuck it up on ebay. Loads of people want one. Not to mention the more that flood the market the cheaper they become. :)

Stop your bloody crying! Why is every player an angsty teen who things every man and their dog hates them? /rant

The armour is a place holder (check the beta forums).

Agreed!

*cough*naked gnome protest*cough*(If you're not sure what this is, look it up on YouTube, a huge group of Gnomes got together and went streaking through towns to protest their lack of abilities, I heard they ended up crashing the server)

I like the game just the way it is, and get beat in BGs by Alliance sometimes, so I don't see any way that the game is unbalanced, it's the players. Some human warriors I can own, even if they're higher level than me, in fact just today I took on a rogue, warrior and mage in Warsong Gulch by myself, all of whom were higher level than me, and won. But then again I have fought human warriors lower level than me who eat me alive. It's all in how you play your character. If you get beat a lot in BGs it's because you or the people you're playing with are doing something wrong, not because the opposite side is stronger than you are or because your race is weaker than the rest. Sorry to add to the /rant but I hear people on the official forums constantly whining, "Horde players always win in the BGs we never win, they're made stronger than us". I will admit that in the BGs I fight in we win 7 out of 10 matches, but those 7 matches consist of Alliance players acting like noobs and just running straight down the middle trying to farm HKs. The 3 out of 10 we lose, the Alliance players formulate strategies, they play their class(healers heal, warriors tank, etc.) and they travel in groups, as well as keep people stationed to defend the flag(if it's Warsong Gulch that is). And that's my two cents.

Twinks are out of the question now. Enchants like Crusader etc have been moved to level 35 min.

I've heard of new enchants being level restricted but current enchants were going to stay the way they were. At least that's what I heard, where does it say Crusader is to 35.

Has anyone played on PTR? It's really laggy with constant crashing. As much as the new talents and changes look awesome I really hope the patch is delayed another 4-5 weeks. I have 4 weeks until I hit HWL. I rolled on a new server and I am only rank 12, almost 13.

I have an undead warlock and 7/43/11 (around there) looks like an awesome PvP spec. I was testing the non destruction part of the build and it looks amazing with high damage.

Demonology has gotten a nice chunk of damage increase with the felguard and the new damage talents. Also full destruction looks great too. (7/5/39 right now)

Finally character was put on PTR and fully installed, updated and 600 person que. /sigh

You're not missing much. All talents don't come in to their own until TBC.

Saying that the 'nerfs' are there from the get go! :p

Time to respec frost for me now Fire has the same DPS with out the survivablity. Ice lance + frozen warrior = 3 shot win.

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.
    • (Can't see if he's still wearing the clompy clown shoes though)
    • I'd say the first one failed to be as popular as Apple anticipated, but the easy adjustment here is to make fewer of them next time around. It would only be a "flop" if it isn't possible for Apple to recover the design and factory tooling costs given the number of units sold, which I doubt would be the case. It isn't like no one bought them; it just failed to become the new hot phone of the year.
    • You're right that it does not follow the plain meaning of the word, but in this context, it is a legal term defined in 49 U.S.C. Kind of how "wire fraud" laws apply even if a physical wire was not used. Given that it is codified in law, and it isn't just automotive journalists that don't understand evolving technology, I highly doubt congress would change a well understood term just because technology makes the term slightly less actuate.
