ive just started a new char in thunderbluff, a bull person.

A tauren? :p

The quickest way to level up is to gain EXP as fast as possible. Usually, this means turning in quests, as they give you much more experience than killing a few monsters.

The new cities, Exodar and Silvermoon, are surrealistically beautiful, especially Exodar with all the crystals and holograms. Both cities feel extremely empty though - as if it were too spaced out compared to Ironforge or Orgrimmar.

Silvermoon is Ironicly smaller than OG though. The reason it seems so empty is because of the lack of players populating the area. Both will remain rather empty though due to their remoteness.

Well Ive been playing BC on and off and I got myself to level 23. However yesterday while I was getting quests in Ashenvale, I noticed a Drenei (I gave up trying to spell it right along time ago), go past on a mount. I was amazed. A level 49 shaman! I whispered him and asked a few questions. What I got back was pretty basic, it almost gave the impression he was one of those power levellers. He said he has been playing since it came out, hasnt had much sleep and it took him "a few days" to reach level 49. I remember getting my hunter to level 55. Took me a VERY long time. This guy seriously must have no life to have got to level 49 in a few days.

anyway. The expansion is good but I dont know why but It annoys me when I see all these level 60's in Exodar cheating to get there Jewelcrafting up. Only good side is the prices of copper, silver etc is so damn high that they are getting ripped off blind. Horray! Wish people could play the game properly.

No kidding. I put a few stacks of copper bars up for some normally outrageous price - and they sold in less than a minute :|

Not true, if you plan it correctly you can get to 60 very very quickly. Same with getting from 60-70. I'm currently 64 but since I went out during the weekend my leveling has been slowed by people catching up with me again. :(

^ well if you have any tips. But when I think of getting to 60 quickly, It gives me a headache. It took me 6 months of "casual" play to get my hunter to 55.

Anyways. I love my shaman. Never thought I would like the Drenei or a shaman but they both work and I really like it. The totems are a god send.

Shammies FTW :p

Well this is the first time since TBC release that I have done anything on the computer that wasnt ingame lol, turned 70 on thusrday night and have to say that man i am loving TBC, the cities, zones and quests are so awesome. making 1800g just on quests alone was awesome, then the flying mounts...what can i say, makes for good pvp ganking lol.

I brought the game and the tbc yesterday. After installing it (and a couple of patches) i finally got a few hours under my belt. I have to say it's a very addictive game. I have a lvl 11 draenei (sp?) paladin. Im not quite up to the 1800g mark but getting there. :p

One thing i did note is that every player i came across is very friendly and helpful. I havn't been called a noob once which was nice. :)

thats funny.... i thought the exact opposite - about silvermoon at least. So many NPC's walking around actually doing something. Even has a blood elf "bum" sleeping ont he ground outside an inn in Murder Row. Made the place feel more alive than the other cities imo.

Did you stop playing aallb> from Tuesday to Thursday:blink:k:

Did you stop playing at all from Tuesday to Thursday?

That would be a negative, 6 Jolt Blues will keep you going for a looong time, but thing is i slept from sunday around 5pm to monday night 11pm so's not to need sleep for a few days. well worth it, #4 to 70 on the server (only by a hour...****** AOE'rs). Good thing about doing that though is your so far ahead of the server you dont have to deal with zone lag.

So somehow someone stole my WoW account earlier this month. It had been inactive since September '06. My username is pretty random, and my password is even more random (random letters and numbers and is quite long). How the hell someone ever figured got it is beyond me. I suspect that I had a virus keylogger before I stopped playing and that is how it was snatched up...but why no activity until January.

Anyway, I talk to Blizzard and they reset and email me my password. Checked the payment history, and the account was re-activated on 1/11/07 using a prepaid 60 day card. Not only that, but whoever did it leveled my Paladin up to level 60 (I was on 58 in sept 06). He sold some of my stuff, but I still had just about everything.

Not sure why anybody would steal an inactive account and pay to re-activate it and use someone else's characters. The guy even joined a guild and when I logged into my account some people were like "whats up man!"

Anyway, not much harm done (other then me feeling like I've been violated :s ). I got about a month and a half free from the guy so I guess I can't be too ****ed off.

It may be that some fishing site or keylogger etc found out your details and instead of raping your account sold it on ebay and whoever bought it treated as their own.

Yeah probably... I wonder if I can find that information on ebay somewhere. Probably was purchased around or on 1/11/2007 but I can't find a way to search for previously sold items on ebay.

    • Pretty sure you will be happy with the result, good luck and take it slow!
    • Mixed thoughts. I do think MS realized it need's to re-focus on it's core while trying to get people to ultimate pay for AI. My windows machines is my gaming tower. That being said a windows machine I used as a server was just recently converted to no GUI Linux server (and it runs so much better for it's purpse), and general purpose laptop (non-gaming) that could run Windows 11 is using Linux. My work device is a MacBook Pro, and I have a raspberry PI acting as my DNS server, using linux. I honestly have more non-windows devices then devices. I don't consider myself typical user however.
    • Here is how to watch Apple's WWDC 2026 conference where iOS 27 is expected by Taras Buria It is Monday, June 8, 2026, which means today is the day Apple kicks off its annual Worldwide Developer Conference, WWDC 2026. As usual, today's keynote will be full of consumer and developer-focused announcements, including new versions of Apple's operating systems, developer tools, and more. Apple streams its developer conferences, allowing everyone to tune in and watch the announcements live. Today is no exception, so here is how you can watch it. Apple WWDC 2026 will be available to watch on Apple's official website here. Also, you can stream it on YouTube and the Apple TV app on your Apple device. The stream kicks off at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT / 6 PM GMT+1. Apple's annual developer conference usually focuses on new software experiences, so do not expect major hardware announcements. What is expected is the "27" series of Apple's operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and macOS. Apple is unlikely to introduce major UI changes, but you can expect subtle tweaks to the Liquid Glass design language, particularly on Mac. One of the biggest changes Apple plans to announce today is a reworked, AI-powered Siri. The assistant will be available as a standalone app with a chatbot-like experience and Google's AI models under the hood. If you want to learn more about what is expected today at WWDC 2026, check out our dedicated article here. However, if you prefer a spoiler-free stream, tune in at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT on Apple's official website, its YouTube channel, or the Apple TV app.
    • For we consumer readers, it would be helpful if you clearly stated in the headline if the article is about consumer or enterprise. Then readers will know if the article applies to them or not. 2 cents.
    • At the moment I have my main PC and a test PC on my work desk. The test PC is also not inverted so I am not looking at the glass panel side, which is irritating.
