The point with BC is that you dont have to play that much anymore to have good gear. They totally changed loot so that it would be more even.

Also, I simply stated that 5k hp is very low for a lvl 70 warlock. I'm sorry if that offends ppl, but it is the truth.

that all depends on the gear..

he could his gear all dmg and no very little stamina

I knew a lock pre-burning crusade that i had 2000 more hps then a friend of mine, but he his gear was also specced for insane dmg

to each is own..

*Still Confused* I think Im getting realms, servers and all those mixed up. Are all the realms connected or something?

Sorry for asking all these newbish questions but thats what I am in WoW, a newbie. :p

Alright, let me explain. Realms and servers are the EXACT same thing. Pretty much they are different servers but they are called "realms" in the warcraft world. Ok? So now, each realm is seperate from the other realms. They all have their own zones/areas/etc. Now in each realm there are currently 2 worlds. Azeroth and Outland. Azeroth has 2 continents, Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor (press m in game and right click a bit to check both of them out). Now outland...has only 1 continent and it is called outland.

That's pretty much it...

Uh? That's more or less how games like WoW work. I don't play WoW anymore - I quit during my trial because I had more constructive things to do, like sticking my hand in a food processor. The lore and stuff interests the hell out of me, but I can't stand the game itself or the people playing it. I spent more time reading the official forums and soaking in all the information than playing the game. Anyway, that guy who plays 8 hours a day? He is going to end up better than you, like it or not. Every MMO works this way. Also, I didn't see him flame anyone, or even mention play times. Perhaps you should stop talking instead? Looks to me like he's just trying to give advice.

I really did want to enjoy WoW, I was a huge huge huge fan of all the RTS games. I honestly had a lot of faith in Blizzard that they could make a MMO and not fall back to the same tactics everyone else did (namely, boring level grinds, and gear grinds at 60). I got a priest into the 20s and just couldn't stand it anymore. It was just the same crap painted a different color. Instead of killing 10 kobolds in the human starting place, I was killing 10 wolves or whatever. And, there's what I was saying above. The people who play 5 or more hours a day are always going to kick my ass. I'd spend an hour, maybe 2 tops a day playing, because that was all I could stomach. I don't understand how some people can sit around and devote the time they do to this game.

You should really play for yourself :). Like, I tried raiding and I didn't like it at much, so me and my friend are just going to be playing together casually doing pvp mainly, maybe some raiding on the side? who knows. And about the community...avoid the forums like the plague.

Precisely. My lock is Destruction spec'd and outfitted accordingly.

God I love WoW. While I was gathering mats to make my usualy bout of pots I went on a culling of alliance mains and alts (huge ratio against us on our server) and got this from a warrior I just killed.

(The guilds he referanced to are 3 end game guilds with only Apathy left making steady but slow progress in TBC. Your typical we wish we were this hardcore type of guild)

<3 WoW :)

Ugh...I made a lock got it to level 23 and its so boring at the moment. All I do is CoA, Corruption, Immolate and wand. Does it get better or should I roll another class? heh

Get better as far as what you do? NO. get better as in OMFGWARLOCKSCHEAT... yes.. Warlocks are the most overpowered class in the game when played well. It's a great class, BUT your job is not to cast like a mage, to use a melee like a rogue, you do 80%-90% of your damage over time. (Dots) And in pvp your main thing is to dot them up and fear them away.. hehe

It all depends on what you want to do though.

Well it depends on how you like to play.

Rogue is dmg pure and simple

Warriors can do insane dmg, but are very very gear dependent. Also, most ppl will want you to tank.

Paladins can do dmg, however, 99% of the time you will be backup healing and sometimes main healing. If you ever decide to raid, you will ONLY be a healer.

So, there you go.

artex is 100% correct. Paladins AREN'T Main Tanks.. Not in end game. But a paladin can replace a priest just fine, with the added blessings, cleanses, etc. they are awesome. But of course with ANY class it all goes back to how you are speced.

What kills me are how Druids are now, they went from a jack of all trades, master of none, to full time replacing warriors as MT's. So much so that Blizz had to tone them down some last patch, because they were to buffed. I think its great though, makes them fit in more now, instead of ONLY being a backup healer and that's it for instances.

our guild has a pally tank all the time in karazhan shrug and we are on the 3rd boss

I feel for your healers. Get a real tank, warrior or druid, and it'll be so much easier.

ahh our healers are all packing 1300+ healing with huge mana pools lol and we have warriors and druids /shrug maybe just maybe you need to open your eyes and try something new

and i never said it was tuff

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
