So the search to find a guild isn't working out so well.

Anyone know any guilds on there server that start raiding between 12:30AM-1AM EST which is 9:30PM-10PM PST? Getting tired of shifting through forums and appearing on random servers. Anyone?

man thats some tough times to raid. Might be better off trying a Euro server with those time frames.

[/b]We choked on Heigen though, rest of the bosses are dead. :)

Lol how do you beat the 4horsemen and not kill heigen? Naxx was definitely the best instance to date :). We made it to Kel'thuzad and killed him 3 days before the release of TBC to craft our 2 Atieshes :D

As for the quote above, about the druid with 21k hp not in bear...well thats simply impossible.

Agreed. It's almost worthwhile going to the shops and buying the $2 trial DVD (assuming they're mostly patched and up to date).

lol the first copy of wow I bought was 4 cd's. I went to buy another copy a while back and it was up to 6 cds :s.... At least they are putting out patches on the game cds as we move along :}

Anybody on a west-coast or central time US PVP server looking for an attuned holy priest with passable gear?

What raid times you looking for? I mean we play on Stonemaul which is a Pacific Server, but most guilds on it are Central or East Coast based raiding times.

btw. Patch 2.3.2 Out

General

* /timetest is a command that can be run to provide information on game performance. /timetest 0 turns the command off. When the command is issued, the next time a player uses a flight master to travel, certain statistics will be measured and displayed at the end of that flight. All weather effects and spawns are shutdown during the test.

* Effects triggered from being critically hit: Many abilities and talents were changed in 2.3.0 to allow them to trigger from critical strikes that occurred while the player benefiting from them was sitting.

* Quest givers with blue question marks no longer show up on the minimap.

* NPC's who you have completed a quest for will display a question mark on mouseover rather than an exclamation point.

* The bank controls for the guildmaster level of a guild is now grayed out. A guildmaster always has full access to a guild bank and this cannot be changed.

* A "Withdraw-Repair Only" button has been added to the guild bank controls. If this is set for a guild rank, then that rank cannot actually withdraw funds from the guild bank, but they can still use that daily amount of money for repairs.

* You will now automatically stand up when attacked, even if the attack doesn't land.

* Boat and zeppelin vendors and NPCs are back on duty.

* Reduced network latency by disabling the Nagle algorithm.

PvP

* Warmasters/marshals in Alterac Valley now increase each other's maximum health and damage by 20%. This is a stacking effect.

Druids

* Lifebloom: When this ability is refreshed it will take on the strength of the incoming Lifebloom effect, rather than maintain the existing strength.

* Ravage (All Ranks) - Damage changed from 350% to 385%

Hunters

* Arcane Shot: Ranks 1-5 will once again deal bonus damage based on attack power.

* Aspect of the Viper effect increased

* Freezing Trap is no longer limited to one target at a time.

* Pet leveling speed has been increased.

Mages

* Cold Snap (Frost) cooldown reduced. It is now in the Ice Block position in the talent tree. This ability will no longer reset the cooldown on Fire Ward.

* Conjure Mana Gem mana restore variance substantially reduced, (Rank 5 - Emerald) now restores 2340 to 2460 mana and has three charges.

* Ice Block (Frost) is now available on the trainer to all mages at level 30.

* Icy Veins (NEW Frost Talent) decreases casting time of all spells by 20% and increases the chance your chilling effects will freeze the target by 10%. Lasts 20 sec. 3 min cooldown. It is now in the Cold Snap position in the talent tree.

Paladins

* Crusader Strike (Retribution) now causes 110% of weapon damage and no longer gains any bonus from spell damage.

* Righteous Fury: This spell will no longer cost twice the listed mana to cast.

* Sanctified Judgements (Retribution) now returns 80% of the Seal's mana cost, increased from 50%.

Rogues

* Ambush: The damage multiplier on this ability has been increased from 250% to 275%.

* Cheat Death: When multiple attacks land simultaneously, all those resolved after the attack which triggered Cheat Death will now have their damage reduced by 90% as intended. However, the combat log will still report them doing full damage.

* Hemorrhage: Rank 4 of this ability no longer has its charges consumed by non-physical attacks and spells.

* Hemorrhage: Weapon damage reduced from 125% to 110%, but the damage debuff has been increased.

* Hemorrhage: This ability now correctly does additional damage when its debuff has already been applied.

* Preparation now resets the cooldown of Shadowstep and no longer resets the cooldown of Adrenaline Rush.

* Shadowstep now adds a 3 second, 70% movement speed increase.

* Sinister Calling now also increases the percentage damage bonus of Hemorrhage and Backstab by 2/4/6/8/10%.

Shaman

* Lightning Shield mana cost reduced.

* Water Shield now restores mana periodically regardless of how many charges remain. Duration increased to 10 minutes.

Warlock

* The health cost taken from the Warlock after using Health Funnel will now remain consistent between uses.

Warrior

* Defiance: weapon expertise will now work in all stances.

* Warriors no longer lose rage when using a macro to enter a stance they're already in.

Professions

Cooking

* [Goldthorn Tea] was erroneously unlearned by most players who had learned the recipe. The recipe has been re-enabled and can be learned again from Neutral Henry Stern in Razorfen Downs at no cost.

Enchanting

* [Enchant Shield - Resilience] now requires a [Runed Fel Iron Rod] instead of a [Runed Adamantite Rod].

WoWJuju is happy to bring a brand new tool which, we hope, will help you a little bit on your WoW life.

So, what does this tool do? It is a Reputation Calculator! It will tell you, according to your current reputation level, how many quests or instances or mobs you have to kill till you hit the next reputation level. It also displays only the tasks/quests you can complete at your given reputation level.

You can access the tool from here:

http://www.wowjuju.com/index.php?page=6

Also you'll always have the tool link on the www.WoWJuju.com website.

We have decided to make this Reputation Calculator because most of the older ones are either not working either their author stopped updating them. For start (note this is only the first version) we decided to go for Burning Crusade Factions only, but the older ones could be added according to people's feedback.

Also, if you like this tool, if you found something wrong or if you have any ideas/suggestions for further development, please go ahead and post your thoughts on the forums.

This thread can't die yet. There's still pretend internet dragons to kill!

Anybody on a west-coast or central time US PVP server looking for an attuned holy priest with passable gear?

Any chance of you zipping your addons folder up and Pming me :D looks hot!

so what's the deal with all of this exploit talk then is it such an issue really? I don't give a monkeys either way but why do so many people seem to have an problem with someone having a pop at mobs in this way? is it purely because it's not as the game is intended to be played or is there more to it?

I recently got back into Wow after a 6 month de-tox.

The 1 add on i seriously miss is popbar, seems they didn't make it since patch 2.02 , and were on 2.3.x now, is there a good replacement that does the same thing but is maintained ?

Thanks

    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is also the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.

    • The Light of Life? We actually do glow till our Death, study finds by Sayan Sen Image by Rafael Rendon via Pexels A study by researchers at the University of Calgary has found that living organisms produce an extremely faint light known as ultraweak photon emission, and that this glow appears to drop significantly after death. The research was published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry in April 2025 and quickly drew widespread attention, leading to more than 200 news stories about the findings. Ultraweak photon emission (or UPE), sometimes called biophoton emission, refers to tiny amounts of light released by living cells as a result of normal biological activity. A photon is the basic particle of light, and researchers say every living system examined so far, including plants and animals, has been found to emit these photons. The glow is far too faint to be seen by the human eye. “I suppose it has a little to do with people being reminded of auras,” says Dr. Christoph Simon, PhD, one of the authors of the study and a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science. “It is a fact that living beings glow. It’s a very weak glow, but it’s there and visible with very sensitive cameras.” According to the study, the light involved is extremely weak, ranging from 10 to 1,000 photons per square centimetre per second across a spectral range of 200 to 1,000 nanometres. For comparison, a nanometre is one-billionth of a metre and is commonly used to measure wavelengths of light. Detecting emissions at such low levels requires highly specialized equipment. To study the phenomenon, researchers used electron-multiplying charge-coupled device (EMCCD) and charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras. These imaging systems are designed to detect extremely small amounts of light, including individual photons, while minimizing background noise. The technology allowed researchers to capture signals that would otherwise be impossible to observe. The team worked with the Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) in Ottawa to examine photon emissions in mice. Researchers took two-hour exposure images of the animals before and after death and compared the results. “We saw that the level of light that they emit – this biophoton glow – is distinctly different between living and dead animals,” says Dr. Daniel Oblak, PhD, an associate professor in Physics and Astronomy and the corresponding author of the study. The images showed a clear decrease in photon emissions after death across the entire body of each mouse. According to the researchers, this provided direct evidence that living and dead tissue produce different levels of ultraweak photon emission. “It’s a very small amount and it’s, of course, very tricky to detect,” Oblak says. The study grew out of discussions between Simon, whose research interests include quantum biology, and Oblak, whose work focuses on detecting light for quantum communication experiments. Quantum biology is a field that explores whether processes described by quantum physics, which studies matter and energy at very small scales, may also play a role in living systems. “Since I work as a quantum physicist on light detection for quantum communication, I thought that experimentally we have a lot of the tools to be able to detect the light,” Oblak explains. The researchers also investigated UPE in plants and found that the light changed in response to stress. When plants were exposed to higher temperatures or physically injured, their photon emissions increased. Chemical treatments also affected the glow. Among the substances tested, the local anesthetic benzocaine produced the strongest emission response when applied to injured plant tissue. These findings suggest that ultraweak photon emission is closely linked to biochemical and metabolic activity inside living organisms. Metabolism refers to the chemical reactions that allow cells and organisms to stay alive and function. Because these reactions change when an organism experiences stress, injury or disease, researchers believe UPE may provide a way to monitor those changes. The researchers stress that the glow is a physical and biological phenomenon, not a metaphysical one. Oblak says more research is needed to understand exactly how the light is produced and what information it may reveal about the condition of living tissue. “We must understand what that is to figure out what’s happening,” he says. “If we can understand how that relates to certain influences on the body – stress, diseases – then that could be used as a diagnostic tool.” The researchers believe the technique could eventually help scientists study health and disease without invasive procedures. Because UPE can be measured without adding dyes, markers or labels, it may offer a way to monitor whether tissue is healthy, damaged or alive. In plants, it could help researchers better understand how organisms respond to injury, heat and other forms of stress. While the work is still in its early stages, the study demonstrates that ultraweak photon emission imaging can provide a non-invasive and label-free way to observe biological activity. Researchers say the approach could become a useful tool for studying vitality, stress responses and other important processes in both animals and plants.
