and a few others , makes stacking quest simple and easy

im not looking forward to lvling another toon hell no but it's part of the game :/

How's WoW now after the latest patch?

Is it worth playing?

I've been thinking about playing it during some of the summer holidays since iv got 11 weeks off college, just to burn some time.

I haven't played it since 2.3, my WoW Subscription ran out the day before 2.4 was released, lol.

Been thinking about leveling a few of my lower level chars, ready for Wotlk.

Questing is fairly easy, it just gets dull and boring after half a level for me. Even playing a class/spec I throughly enjoy I still can't sit there and level frequently. If I could I'd have multiple 70's by now, but most of my toons get to the 30-40 range and I just get bored of them. Desolace/STV are extremely boring and where nice once, but that's it. Even going through and questing zone's that I never quested before (Hillsbrad/Azshara/etc.) I still get pretty bored. Then I hope on my warrior, and sit in Shatt, bored.

Singhking, not much has changed, T6 loot from badges, cost a bit but still some very nice gear there. Sunwell has been released, and recently cleared. If you got the time to kill, wouldn't hurt to play, level some alts, especially if your going to pick it back up at King. I know I want some of my alts to at least hit 55, before King is released. I don't think I ever would level a toon 1-80. So trying to get all my alts to 55 at least.

Too true. Couple of my mates seem to find the enthusiasm to level endless amounts of alts, I've still just got the one 70. Alternating boosts with other people who want to level alts can be good. Just take each other's low levels through instances a few times a day.

Saying this, leveling an alt on the horde side (I'd only ever been alliance before) has been a bit more fun due to seeing places I hadn't and doing quests I'd never done.

Just as well too: I was planning to start running TK/SSC pugs because Mag and Gruul

are getting pretty old...again

Know what you mean! Try and encourage people to go to ZA, it's not harder on the gear but requires being awake more! And uses more abilities of each class you don't really have to in any instances or raids. For example, as a hunter I haven't had to use tranquilizing shot since before TBC.

Took some pictures of the WoTLK alpha, click HERE if you're interested in seeing them.

From what I was able to see (most zones aren't complete, and only first 2-3 zones have actual NPCs), Northrend looks a bit more like Azeroth (duh :D).

Naxxramas has already been added to the map, situated in a zone called Dragonblight.

You work for Blizzard and are in the F & F alpha? Get me an invite.

I think a big part of the draw of Tier 4 and 5 raids is that we can be completely drunk and half asleep and still plow through them without too much trouble. After 3 nights in BT/Hyjal/Sunwell the last thing I want to do is another 2-3 hours of "serious business" raids. I'm not going to tell my girlfriend she can't come because here paladin still wears level 45 blues that "look pretty".

Also, ZA is just too small. I try to run with about 10 real-life friends and 10 alts or out-of-guild friends. Running 2 ZA runs wouldn't be nearly as fun as 1 big raid so I just ask in guild or trade-chat to get members for the last few spots.

ughh. Had ZA last night. Cleared all 4 animal bosses Saturday and got a few attempts in on Hex Lord. Went in there today for a few hours (off-night) and we were consistently getting him below 40% before wiping. But are best attempt was 1%(-7% imo). He was sitting at 3%, with Rogue, Warr, Warr(me tank), Resto Shaman, Lock still up, he went to heal, interrupted, concentrated immediatly after heal (pally siphon), took out rouge/warr. So leaving me, lock and shman up. He starts to heal again with my shield bash sitting on a 3 sec CD. I couldn't get it off in time to interrupt it. I mean I stood still, and as soon as it was up, I pressed it so hard, I think the key got stuck, but was moot, didn't go off. So myself, shaman, and lock took him from 8% to 1% (hence -7%). Lock went down due to spirit bolts, me and shaman left. Shaman shocked twice, and I had Last Stand/Shield Wall up, jumped in Zerker and was spamming execute but it just wasn't enough. Probally need one or two more attacks to be dead. (I should also mention, we had 1 shaman, 1 mage, 1 pally, and 2 hunters and kept getting mage/shaman siphon over and over, with a random pally/rogue, I want more hunter siphon's they are so easy compared to rest).

All fun, this week's ZA timer is Tuesday/Thursday (both raid nights), so we will have 2 proper raid days to focus on him. Hopefully clear all 4 animal bosses (still having problems dual warr on Jan'alai, easy to do with pally, but as dual warr, meh) and get as many attempts in as possible on Hex Lord. Would be a guild 4th kill and first since Sunwell when more than half jumped ship. So it's looking good. I can't wait to fight Zul'Jin, watching videos on him, and he just looks fun.

Hex-lord is the most annoying boss in the game. Some days you can 1 shot him, other days you'll spend 2 hours wiping on him.

Anyway yesterday we spent an entire day on Archimonde. Best attempt we got was like 74%. Talk about a battle for survival, but it's extremely fun.

The Death Knights bar is a bit strange, just dose not look like what I would imagine it to be like ><

explain? Are you talking about the sword looking thing behind the bar itself? If so is that default? And does every class have those now?

Finally, the official start date for Season 4 has been announced 2 minutes ago (fastest news ever), it will start on:

- June 24th in the US

- June 25th in Europe

We?re currently planning to end the third Arena season and begin Arena Season 4 on June 24, 2008. This exciting Arena season will introduce the Brutal Gladiator set, and will also allow players to purchase Arena Season 2 items using the honor system. Please note that we will be resetting all Arena team and personal ratings. Players will still retain their Arena points and teams with this reset. The team and personal rating will simply be reset to the default 1500, allowing all teams to once again compete for top honors with a fresh start.

Also, with the end of the third season, players on the top teams from each battlegroup will receive their end-of-season rewards. These include Arena-specific titles that they can display proudly until the end of the new season, and, for the best of the best, an Armored Nether Drake. Please also be aware that with the end of the current season, all previous end-of-season titles will be removed.

Ya S2 becomes "welfare"!

Anyone else server's expereincing guild breakups. IE, 2nd and 3rd top progress guild on my server have broken up. Leaving a Horde guild on Twins (who've been around for so long, I don't see them ever breaking up) and an Alliance guild in 2nd currently wiping on Felmyst.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. • Microsoft will soon allow some users to block Copilot from analyzing their Office files by Usama Jawad Microsoft Purview is a pretty useful data governance, security, and management service that allows customers to gain enhanced visibility and control over their content. It's meant for commercial customers, such as organizations that are storing data at scale. As AI continues to expand and infiltrate every corner of a firm, many are a bit conscious about the technology gaining access to their confidential data. Microsoft is now making a configuration change that will allow such customers to rest easy. Right now, users within an organization have the option to apply Purview sensitivity labels (when available) to secure certain files and label them as such. For example, if you apply the "Confidential" label on an Excel file, the file will be encrypted, and a "confidential" watermark will be applied to it. So, if this file is shared with anyone, they are aware that its access is supposed to be restricted. Up until now, Microsoft was allowing some connected experiences, like its AI services, to analyze files, regardless of their sensitivity label. This is of major concern to most organizations, as a recent example highlighted how confidential emails with data loss prevention (DLP) policies like privacy labels were being uploaded to Copilot for analysis. As such, Microsoft is updating an existing Purview data label sensitivity setting that prevents "some connected experiences that analyze content", from being blocked completely from doing this. The label isn't changing, but the blocking is now being enforced across all connected services (including Copilot and other AI tools), and now extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files with the label applied already will get this enhancement automatically too once it becomes available. Microsoft has urged IT admins to inform their respective helpdesk and compliance teams, update internal documentation, and review sensitivity labels to ensure that they meet their respective compliance needs. This change is tagged as MC1297982 in the Message Center. General availability is scheduled to begin in a phased manner soon and will complete by the end of next month. That said, it is important to note that this only applies to commercial customers who have a license that allows them to use Purview.

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.
