It was better than anything else on the AH at my level for when something gets up in my face, so.. I used it..

Trust me guys, I know being a melee hunter is a bad thing.

Actually its not the best thing for you. Anything of the monkey would be better. Since its in your offhand, even if it does proc its for reduced dmg. Also, raptor strike is only a MH attack so all you do is auto attack with it.

Stats stats stats, that's rule one.

When I get back to Org or UC from The Swamp of Sorrow (where I'm at right now.. harvesting plants).. I'll be sure to look for a sword or something of the monkey, but as I said, damage wise, that's been the best weapon for my level, damage wise, on the AH for quite some time.. though the other night night I did ding 43.. so maybe I'll have better luck.

Your dmg comes from your bow, if you have to melee then you're doing it wrong. That weapon doesnt increase your ranged dmg at all, so that's what I mean. Obviously its nice dmg, but only for melee, which you should never rely on as a hunter. If you got something of the monkey you'd increase your ranged dmg.

I really need to go back and finish leveling up my Mage.... got to about level 51/52 if I can remember.

Been off the subscription for months though and I'm pretty skint this month, so I think that'll do enough to prevent me reactivating for now

Well as im writing this guilds on 2nd proper attempt at Illidan. Had a few weeks of downtime due to summer vacations and a new raid schedule being put in place, so really hoping they kick his ass tonite. Am gutted at not being there but I gots to go out for dinner tonite, family event. Not all bad tho least I can order a steak :)

Oh and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32332 dropped for me last nite so im one happy little Retri pally, least till we see Kj and hopefully slap him enuff ties to get his 2h.

Also grtx Perochan, those will come in handy for Kael`thas, hes fuuuun in a sort of irritating way.

Yeah, I know.

Bronzebeard's AH is pretty screwed up economically.. level 15 items cost a couple gold, and etc.. that's why it's so hard to find a good green or something for my level that does decent damage.. and as far as damage I rely more on my bow, but I have nice damage when something gets up in my face..but, by then I usually trigger intimidation, and stun the mob, let the pet regain the aggro, back off.. and then use my bow.

That's fair. I see Soul Link is going to be nerfed for the 3rd or 4th time now. Down to 15% now, although they finally lowered it on the talent tree as well. I've been affliction for most of my warlock's career and loved it. I've tried the other builds, but the pve destruction / shadow mage spec bored me and demonology feels out of place in group pve.

I was really hoping for an affliction talent to convert spell crit (and possibly spell haste) to damage or some other method to utilize spell crit since it goes to waste on affliction. But then again, they are changing a lot about the different stats so maybe it will show up elsewhere. Like maybe pure spell damage gear will be more available.

Bonuses for +spirit has me scratching my head as well...

Why didn't you just sell that dagger for a nice sum of gold?

If no one seems interested, just wait a few days!

I've been trying to sell the Cobalt Crusher for about six days for 40 gold, when the median price on AH's is 59.

No one will buy it, if no one will buy a blue for 19 gold off, whats to make me think that a purple will sell?.. Not much.

... You do know allakhazam's median price is worthless?

It all depends on the server and demand. Our server, Silvermoon, is the most overpriced and imbalanced PvE server in Europe and you won't even fetch 40 Gold for that here.

You can always advertise it as a twink weapon in trade chat, then you might find some sucker. But you really need to lower the price big time.

I remember the first time I did sfk on my hunter. The Shadowfang dropped and I saw it as a cool weapon.

Later on I found out it would sell for 800g+

It pays (literally) to search random things that drop, not just items, but almost anything that you don't already know what its use is.

Example; Questing in Zangarmarsh you'll notice a whole bunch of Strange spores will drop and at face value are worthless. However, if you save them, cook them into Sporeling Snacks and either consume them (well, they are pet food, but.. yeah) or sell them you will be gaining either gold and/or stats from doing nothing but looting (and cooking). :]

Another good example is if you're a miner and have the chance to do Hyjal with your guild, after downing Rage and Anetheron whilst making your way to the next Horde encampment Mining Nodes spawn for 10 minutes that drop Epic (which usually go to the guild bank) Blue and Green (I think?) Gems. Another thing that drops is Shattered Gem Fragments, each fragment sells for 1g50s and if your guildmates that are also mining don't know or just don't care, you can make bank rather easily. :D

Without revealing too much, I took up skinning 2 days ago and found a perfect area with some 'special' mobs.

Plus, when you add our inflated server economy, I can make around 100g every 15-20. minute.

Made 1200g yesterday.

:shiftyninja:

damn! mind telling me wheres the "special" mobs and spot? my alt is taking skinning :p
