so for those of you running Windows7 and WoW.. question... Are you able to pin wow to your taskbar and if so, does it show up as a seperate icon when you open it? or does it open in the existing icon like firefox, or ie, etc does?

Because for me its showing as a seperate icon on my superbar

Sometimes these quests depress me. I'm following this guide, leveling fast as all hell, then I have to be in this area where everything rapes the crap out of me. I get attacked by 3 or 4 mobs, die 5 times, have to run all over God's creation, so I just close the game. Ballbags.

Who is on Firetree here?!

I'm a level 55 Frost Mage, should I be doing a lot of damage? Is that what my class specializes in, damage? I did an instance last night and was 2nd out of 5 for most damage. I seem to kill things extremely quickly, too.

Also, if I have 2 pieces, one says "Increases spell power by 15" and one says "Increases Frost spell power by 24" what should I take? Frost obviously?

As frost you aren't about being a glass cannon on damage wise Bawx... Your spec is survivability.. So don't expect insane numbers.

And yeah of course spell dmg is all spells, including healing now.. And frost dmg is just frost dmg.. It all depends on which has the best stats as far as int/stam... Along with the spell power..

I mean at level 55 you are going to replace that gear in 2-4 lvls anyways.

Frost is pretty good damage and has good solo survivability. If you want top damage though, generally the fire tree or frost fire spec provides the top DPS I think.

Depends. In this case, yes take the frost spell power one. If the majority of the dps spells you cast are from one tree, it's safe to take the specific spell power increases.

Anyone notice any change in Sapp since 3.08A?

We went in after the 3.08 patch and had no problems using a Priest, Shaman, Holy Pally to heal it. This week we went in with the same setup and same healers that have always gone and just got completly smashed. Everyone was avoiding chill, drain life was being decursed within a second or so of it being cast and raid was staying spread out for Ice Bolts. But no matter what the aura seemed to kill us. Like it was ticking far faster and hitting alot harder even with the Frost Aura (this is only 10 man) on everyone.

I'm at a lost as to what gives.

Beat him last Thursday and he seemed the same as always.

My guild just beat him for the first time on 10 man. Had 200~ FrR and a druid, paladin, and priest healing.

Noticed this last night when our guild ran it on 10m. We never ran with any frost resist gear and just had our pally's put up FR aura. Needless to say with the same exact group make up that we usually bring outside of one different person as a dps, we could not down Sapph. Prior to this we had been clearing Naxx without any problems. Looks like I'll be crafting a lot of FR rings.

ATI Card owners, dont upgrade to Catalyst 9.1, it will cause WoW to crash frequently.

Hmm i was using drivers from November and the Catalyst from then. And when i was playing wow i was blue screening when i went in to Un'goro Crater. I updated to the latest and it has been fine there again i haven't tried goign back to Un'goro yet for fear of a bluescreen lol

For whoever asked about Win7 and WoW - yes I also get two icons in task bar if I pin the icon.

Also - got my first Tier 7.5 today! So happy coz my guild is only a casual raiding guild, but we decided to run 25man Naxx and yeah, downed Kael and got my helmet along with other pretty spanky gear :)

Only thing that sucked was spending 2000g for Beserker mats for my 2 new daggers, along with enchants for my new gloves, belt and boots lol.

If anyone on blackrock wants to send me 2000g for the hell of it, feel free :p

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum. Asymmetric multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight and the hit mech shooter MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries are also free-to-play over the weekend. • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.
