This may seem like a bad place to ask but someone else talked about it here.

Does anyone know a legit gold selling site? I have no jobs level'd and have no way of making gold. It's only $20 for 1k gold which is practically nothing, I'll just buy it and have it for a long long time.

Your account will be banned if you purchase gold.

Pfft. I know people in my guild who have bought 5000g for their epic flying mounts on their alts!... TWICE! Blizzard don't give a toss.

Tis true. You seem to get away with it more than you get caught, but still. Pretty lazy or you just suck if you can't farm up gold in the current state.

Here's what I do, create a level 1 character, load him up with some nice bags, and then just mail things you want to AH to him. That way you don't need to travel back and for. The cost of mailing things is so low it's almost pointless to even have it. It's faster to log out on character then back into another than to travel back and forth.

Edit: Doh...I should have combined my two posts.

thats what most of us do. We call them bank's. Mine's name is Wachovia, a lvl 7 rogue lol all he does is stand by the bank, I send him items that I want to AH

Hmmm... Never thought of that. That's an excellent idea. I might just have to make one for myself :p

Hmm... let's see...

If I remember right the only thing I did was go to ____bar3 and changed the Background Texture Name to _L chat2 background, and the Border Texture Name to _L chat2 border.

See if that fixes it for you.

*And I'm US Mug'thol... FOR THE HORDE!!!

Woah such an easy fix! Thanks bud works like a charm! :)

Another way to fix the problem with an addon if you don't know what is causing it is to go into the Saved Variables folder inside the WTF folder which is inside your WoW folder.. and delete the addonnamegoeshere.lua and addonnamegameshere.lua.bak.

Then copy the original saved variable file back into that folder. It should reset it back to how it was pre-messed up. If any of that makes sense..

First day in Outlands, awesome place. About half way to 62. Made about 80-90g haven't even AH'd anything or NPC'd anything good.

About my epic staff I bought for 100g. A afew hours in, I finish a quest chain, and what's my reward? A better staff than the one I just bought. I was ****ed. Then, I get 3 more awesome pieces of gear off quests. I seriously don't need to buy anything.

But I notice the quests don't give as much xp, I haven't even had one that's bumped me up a full bar.

Yeh but there generaly a bit shorter, more varied and better layed out than the Old World stuff. So you can rack up about 10 or so and just fly through them. If you havent got this addon already I strongly suggest it for burning thru a few lvls as it will show you where to go what you need and in most cases do so in a way that,ll get you plenty of xp.

Quest Helper

Oh and your right thru OL and Northrend you shudnt need to buy anything cept maybe a few crappy gems, tho Id get the Northrend common quality ones as soon as in my gear as there awesome while leveling. Should only cost you 1-5g each off of the AH once you can use them. The OL ones are even cheaper still but not as good stat wise.

Those "bubbles" on the XP bar take longer to fill them up every time you go up a level. Soon you'll be getting 20K XP from quests that don't even look like they move the bar. :)

I no longer hear sound in-game. For some reason, everything is muted. I didn't change anything. :/

Check your keyboard shortcuts, for the oddest reason there is keyboard commands to mute all sound. : /

It's command+something, I think command+s. Or alt+s or something. It should be listed in the keyboard commands.

I wanta say its SHIFT+S because I do it all the time when I reinstall or something, and forget to set keybindings.

Thanks! The key binding to mute sound in WoW is Ctrl + S. :)

As a new person to WoW heres a tip I have learn't (and if you read back a few pages you'll get the same tip)

While leveling do not buy Gear!!!

lol, I don't know how many times I have bought gear only to replace it in a few levels, and also have to admit buying a few blues only to replace them :p

I'm leveling a rogue atm, the only thing I have found that I need to buy is a one-handed sowrd. To coincide with an upgrade I get in a quest (I like to have similar dps swords in my off-hand)

Must admit I tried Wow last year and left after a month, but somehow I'm really enjoying the game atm :)

    • Zed 1.7.2 has landed with updated OpenCode models, bug fixes and other improvements by David Uzondu Zed 1.7.2 recently landed on the stable release channel, bringing a host of AI-related features including automatic context compaction and settings-based skill management, along with other things like better Markdown preview rendering and custom git commands in the graph view. Starting with the AI stuff, the developers introduced "/compact", a command that basically summarizes your conversation history on demand. This tool prevents your active chat window from hitting token limits by compressing older parts of the dialogue into a brief overview. In addition to that, the team relocated skill management to the settings UI, improving how the application communicates errors regarding those skills, and updated the OpenCode model roster to support DeepSeek V4 Flash, MiniMax M3, Qwen 3.7 Plus, and Nemotron 3 Ultra Free. External agent users can also monitor context window cost metrics and delete individual sessions directly from their history. Right-clicking ref labels in the git graph now opens a context menu that runs different actions against selected targets, kind of how VS Code does it. Here are some of the bug fixes this new release brings: The active agent fails to auto-select when creating a new git worktree. A scrollbar unexpectedly appears on wrapped code blocks in the agent chat. Collapse indicators for project headers appear when performing sidebar searches. Bracketed ellipsis title prefixes fail to show the ellipsis icon properly. Project icons render incorrectly in the recent projects picker. Diff hunk controls appear inside non-editable commit view multibuffers. The software update button hangs indefinitely on the downloading stage. Restoring an agent terminal in a remote project triggers a sudden crash. Splitting a pane that contains an active commit view causes a crash. Linux Wayland freezes when trying to read the clipboard from laggy external apps. Zed is a "newish" code editor trying to break the massive stronghold VS Code has on the developer community. Funny enough, the editor was created by former GitHub employees who worked on the Atom text editor (which Microsoft killed in 2022, several years after it bought GitHub). The project officially hit version 1.0 back in April, introducing platform parity for Windows and Linux alongside deep support for DeepSeek-V4-Pro.
    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Pro 12 (inch), within a VM.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
