PVP in wow is a joke

i love wow, the raiding aspect at least

but really, arenas are all paladins and DK's

they bothhave wayyyyy too much burst damage and frankly im seeing unstoppable paladin DK teams completely shutting people down

specially blood elf pallys combined with DK's..lots of silences, stuns, 2 shottings

but luckily i dont play for pvp otherwise id have quit the game

dual spec im excited for, as a hybrid with 3 sets of gear itll help alot

Can't you use the repair utility? I don't know if that would cause them to download or what.

There is no repair utility for Mac..., the current problem is that 3.0.8 either crashes upon patching, kernel panic's, or you can update normally..., im in the panic and crash part, and as many other people, have tried almost everything...

With .app from 3.0.9 i might be able to just use them on OSX with my 3.0.9 Windows files, since the files are pretty much time same (MPQ, folder organization, etc).

I erased ALL of my addons and my WTF folder the other night and restarted completely afresh because my WoW install was acting rather strange.

After redownloading most of the most used addons, its now running more smooth than ever.

And here's an updated screenshot of my main, Minifig (the DK):

Looks like I took a 50 page hiatus on this thread. :p

I was dual boxing before the expansion and made it to 60 before wrath hit. I had 2 70s already. So I went out and bought the xpac for my primary account and started playing it. Got one to 71 and the other to 73 before I couldn't stand it anymore. Seems this expansion is more of the same **** with different colors painted over the top of it.

I've since cancelled my account and regretted dropping the $40 for the xpac. Mostly it was after I did the math on the amount of time it would take to get to 80 with 4 characters that made me want to cry. I could play though SEVERAL different game campaigns in that same amount of time. I guess once you're out of school you realize your weeks aren't oozing freetime anymore. I've since picked up a 360 and played through a couple games and started several more. I'm sure I'd only have one or two level 80s if I was still playing WoW. Disappointing really. Well, at least Diablo 3 won't require such a massive time investment... I hope.

Bye. Thanks for sharing.

What are the DK's specialties? What's so good about it?

- Face rolling in PvP

- Creating an army of moron players, more so than the huntard class

- Doing ok DPS and taking up a raid slot

- having the most annoying spell effects rendering it impossible to see fissures properly when they are 'tanking'.

Take your pick. :p

- Truth.

- All DK's spare a select few, like Hunters, or DKtards.

- DK's have normally been at the top of dps meters for while as long as they aren't the above.

- Turn down spell detail, can still see fissures (pain, but meh it works).

Mine:

- Free epic ground mount at level 55.

- Less than 5 hours (maybe 6) to get to 60.

- Complete OP in everything in outlands (IE no trouble to level) and most of Northrend.

- Pain in the ass to level professions, such as gathering, from 1 (but that's all toons).

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
