I remember Sethos looking for some minimal GUIs a while back in this topic, does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Seeing as MW2 really isn't holding my time I might plunge back into WoW for a bit.

Never really gave the healing classes a go ever, I have a mage at 50 something needing levelled but I might reroll a Priest/Paladin for a bit of a change. Considered Druid but I think the constant gear management for each build would do my head in.

So maybe a simple GUI with healing in mind. I'd redo everything myself but to be honest that's a hurdle keeping me away, right now I already need to reinstall and repatch everything, that's going to take a while :|

Thanks :)

I'm using Zeo atm for my Shadow Priest. Works well for my raiding install

Thanks I think I'm gonna roll a Paladin to give myself a little variety. I have no guilds or anything, will mostly be soloing and playing with a real life friend who's an 80 Hunter. Therefore I thought something with healing would be beneficial if we pair up. I also have a strange addiction to soloing old instances, so Paladin should be ideal for that :p

So if anyone has any Paladin tips/recommendations for GUI (above looks good but it's obviously raiding focussed), appreciated :)

I guess for starting classes it's Draenei or Human in terms of useful racials, Dwarves just cosmetic.

edit: Reinstalling everything when you have the CD versions of WoW (it got released on DVD as well right?) is a PAIN! All the GB's of patches should be fun as well :p

I always find the default ui for levelling is the best (for me anyway) helps me get used to the new spells and learn when and where to use them, I find its easier to use a custom ui after you have gotten quite far than to learn the ui aswell as the class.

I'll try and get a bunch of Paladin ui's together though but most UI compilations are either PVP or PVE as opposed to leveling

Download the installers from wow website, No need to change CD's which is quicker then after you are patched take a back up of the folder so you don't have to reinstall anymore.

To get out of the default ui you could try this for starters http://www.spartanui.com/ and get some Paladin Specific and quest addons

Thanks I'll have a look.

Only issue I have no is I merged over to that Battle.net thing, and when I try to add a new card for my subscription (Visa or Maestro),

Payment Method Blocked

I've not played in months. Blizzard always seem to mess things up  Need to phone them now.

hmm, I merged months ago when the iPhone authenticator came out and I had payment details already in there, Let me know what they say about that error

I get to this screen

wowbattlenet.jpg

The only thing I can see related to subscriptions is "Change Payment Method". When I do that it takes me to the old style account management to add a card, then I get the issue with "Payment Method Blocked".

After clicking the "Change Payment Method" I get this - Do you go past that to get the error?

I get that screen, once I select a card and click continue I get this

Why is your licence status frozen?

The Maestro card I used to use would never renew at the end of each month, it would always expire and I had to go rebuy another month.

Thing is my bank issued me a Visa card to replace it and that's what I'm trying to enter now.

As you can see it would expire every month

Hmm I don't get that. Do you get that on all the cards? do you have parental restrictions on the account?

All cards, no parental restrictions :/

I've contacted Blizzard.

If you have a scroll of resurrection Shaun I can give you 30 days free is it? I'm going to be playing WoW up till and over Christmas at least so if Blizzard sort my account I'll def be subscribing in 10 days (I think that's how long scroll lasts).

I was tempted to buy a gamecard (it doesn't bring up that error), but I'll have to wait on delivery for it which will take a few days, probably not get it till Monday. Blizzard will probably get back to me within 24 hours.

So now not only do they charge 15.00 a month for access, now you have to pay an additional 10$ for each time you dont one shot all the bosses. Does anyone else think that this is the end of WoW? No more respawns unless you pay .50$ to the angel, no farming sm

this is stupid.

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
