Just wondered, to anybody in the BETA at the moment. Has anybody had the chance to do the alliance quest chain in the Western Plaguelands to do with Andorhal. Apparently the Horde get to retake it and see some tasty banshee-queen lore, and I was wondering if there is an alliance counterpart, and we also get to take it back as from what I have seen pre-phase it's a third Alliance, a third Horde and a third Scourge. Also is Chromie still there, as I will NOT miss the quest to kill temporal maggots.

You know when you login to WoW and you discover it's your lucky day ? awesome randoms, terrific loot, making new friends, finishing that hard quest you were trying for days ? Well it happened to me yesterday, and I thought "what the hell, i'm gonna push my luck and see if I got in the Cata Beta", so I logged in to battle.net and ... nope, no beta for me :'(

That was my useless post of the day.

Blizzard doesn't love you that much. :p

I've used Bagnon for a long time now, it doesn't actually sort by type does it? You can only search by the item(s) names.

As far as I know of.. there is no way how to sort by pvp / pve gear. It's just "armor" to the game.

The only thing that differentiates it is the stats, and therefore the game can't "separate" it even with user add-ons unless it's an add-on that specifies the type of armor PER class, PER armor type.

And that's a lot of coding and time.

You sure said that

And I hate to smack you in your face but Activision has NOTHING to do with Blizzard. They are a distribution company. That's it. They are wholy separate entities than Blizzard. The only reason in a conjoined merger is because it's beneficial to both companies to have resources between the companies that they can share and utilize. Ideas wise, Blizzard is Blizzard and Activision is Activison. Pull your head out of the clouds and realize that ALL Warcraft information, etc are retained by Blizzard. Activision has no rights whatsoever to the properties. They have as much right to the franchise, it's story, and it's lore as you, or I.

And if you're so upset about the Worgen, name another race of things that the Alliance can get from either the First or Second War.. hell I'll be so generous as to say the Third war, even though WoW is set somewhere in the middle of Warcraft 2 and 3. I'll be waiting as you really can't name one other than the Pandaren.

A forewarning though: Please don't play with people who read Lore daily, and have been praised by blue posters for their knowledge about it, you will be stomped on and embarrassed.

Blizzard and Activison are one. They merged. http://en.wikipedia....vision_Blizzard

Blizzard merged with Vivendi Universal Games, which was then bought out by Activision, taking Blizzard in the deal.

Any bag addon that sorts or lets you search your bags / bank by PvE and or PvP gear?

BankStack. Love it. It sorts bags, bank, and guild bank tabs. :) If you use Combuctor (the Bagnon author's other bag addon) you can get an extra tab addon for it that will show you only gear you have in a set. That's about as close as you can get AFAIK.

Lots of misinformation floating around this thread

He's well aware of this fact, he mentioned it in his post.

Activision aren't above Blizzard, they merged, hence they're equal in their say. So Blizzard is still running things in WoW, not Activision - at least game-wise, not talking about administrative management, like oh say, firing people.

July 10, 2008 -- Paris, France and Santa Monica, CA - Vivendi (Euronext Paris: VIV) and Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) today announced the completion of the transaction announced on December 2, 2007 to create Activision Blizzard, as the world's most profitable pure-play online and console game publisher. Activision Blizzard was formed by combining Activision, one of the world's leading independent publishers of interactive entertainment, and Vivendi Games, Vivendi's interactive entertainment business, which includes Blizzard Entertainment's® World of Warcraft®, the world's #1 subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Activision Blizzard will continue to operate as a public company traded on Nasdaq under the ticker ATVI.

Activision and Blizzard still operate as separate entities. Activision Blizzard doesn't actually publish anything. They're the holding company. (I'm agreeing.)

On topic: Ding on my 5th 80 cow. :D

It's pretty much one single stat - Resilience. If it's got it it's pvp, if it doesn't then it's pve or vendor spec.

Pretty much, if someone wants to, they could also manually code which names/armors are considerer PVP and whatnot, and there are plenty of people around that would do something like that if they felt like it. :p

Yeah I know that, because I'm a player, but, a mod can't tell if a piece of armor has resilience or not.

That's the point I was trying to make.

He was looking for a mod to filter between PVP and PVE gear, and I said there is no mod that can differentiate between the two because of the way the game sees gear.. it just sees it as "gear" as a whole.

Make sense?

    • Zed 1.7.2 has landed with updated OpenCode models, bug fixes and other improvements by David Uzondu Zed 1.7.2 recently landed on the stable release channel, bringing a host of AI-related features including automatic context compaction and settings-based skill management, along with other things like better Markdown preview rendering and custom git commands in the graph view. Starting with the AI stuff, the developers introduced "/compact", a command that basically summarizes your conversation history on demand. This tool prevents your active chat window from hitting token limits by compressing older parts of the dialogue into a brief overview. In addition to that, the team relocated skill management to the settings UI, improving how the application communicates errors regarding those skills, and updated the OpenCode model roster to support DeepSeek V4 Flash, MiniMax M3, Qwen 3.7 Plus, and Nemotron 3 Ultra Free. External agent users can also monitor context window cost metrics and delete individual sessions directly from their history. Right-clicking ref labels in the git graph now opens a context menu that runs different actions against selected targets, kind of how VS Code does it. Here are some of the bug fixes this new release brings: The active agent fails to auto-select when creating a new git worktree. A scrollbar unexpectedly appears on wrapped code blocks in the agent chat. Collapse indicators for project headers appear when performing sidebar searches. Bracketed ellipsis title prefixes fail to show the ellipsis icon properly. Project icons render incorrectly in the recent projects picker. Diff hunk controls appear inside non-editable commit view multibuffers. The software update button hangs indefinitely on the downloading stage. Restoring an agent terminal in a remote project triggers a sudden crash. Splitting a pane that contains an active commit view causes a crash. Linux Wayland freezes when trying to read the clipboard from laggy external apps. Zed is a "newish" code editor trying to break the massive stronghold VS Code has on the developer community. Funny enough, the editor was created by former GitHub employees who worked on the Atom text editor (which Microsoft killed in 2022, several years after it bought GitHub). The project officially hit version 1.0 back in April, introducing platform parity for Windows and Linux alongside deep support for DeepSeek-V4-Pro.
    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Pro 12 (inch), within a VM.
