The http source on the torrent tracker used to be really fast, which meant decent speeds. Now It's just overloaded and slow as hell, sometimes it doesn't even seem to connect.

It turns out that they're not 'overloaded', they're just throttling the connection.

So soon? you think?

I'm guessing with all the changes they're making and how much everyone rages even for minor things that they'll want the system changes as far away from the expansion release as possible. It's going to take a bit for everyone live-side to get used to the new talent trees and gear stat changes.

That and I can't recall them ever pushing two stages of a patch within a week. :)

I've been on the PTR and still haven't been able to get on long enough to test anything as it took a week to get our 80's over then they wiped them and cleared the data, Transfer's only started working again today so when I get home will be the first time in the 2 weeks I've been able to get on and do anything. That's the only reason I didn't think they were close enough to releasing it as I didn't think they had much testing done.

The PTR builds are branched milestones. They're often behind internal development as they go through internal QA to make sure they at least work for public testing. Last week's test realm had serious issues with professions for copied characters but I'm sure they've fixed that... I think they usually leave the PTR up for a few weeks after its respective build goes live.

Well that sucks, I only downloaded the full 16 gig again last night

Don't toss it quite yet. I could be way off in my prediction. biggrin.gif

My WoW folder is 16.6 gigs excluding all the folders except Data, so I'm guessing the 4.0 patch won't be too big since the PTR doesn't data doesn't seem include the Cacaclysm assets.

Here is a Hilarious Beta Blooper for you if you are interested. Some guy tries to test the new Worgen "running wild" spell, However instead of leveling one to 20 he takes a 80 and changes it race to worgan where hilarity ensues as he cannot turn into a worgen just check it out its Hilarious.

I haven't, just been playing a lot of Starcraft recently, still playing her sometimes though. Was hoping for loremaster before this patch hit but cant be bothered with my last 100 quests :p

Dayum, everyone seems to either stop playing or do other stuff, I seem like the "lone warrior" lol Haven't seen much of kaii either :( .

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
    • After I installed those, my older but capable Win 11 laptop (16GB RAM) reported it as 26H2 26300.8697. Then I installed it on my big laptop (128GB RAM! Hehe sorry), it reported it as 25H2 26220.8690. Ugh. Do I have to switch Insiders channels from Release to Beta?
