Another few hours left to go till Servers go back up. Gah damn Blizzard and their obsessively long downtimes. From the patch notes it appears Hunters get even more OP.

Yes in a few hours the servers will come up, however they wont be stable for a few days lol.

We're in the process of transitioning many of our internal tools to the new patch and are experiencing longer than anticipated time to completion. We're now estimating maintenance to be completed and realms available by 4:00 p.m. PDT. We're working to get you in-game as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Son of a b*tch! Always another extension of time. Well looks like I gotta wait till after work to play it now. GG Blizz!

With a major patch like this, I think this was to be expected. No? Plus its blizzard! Lol

I will probably activate my account just for this patch, to see how everything is working out.

I just started my newly patched client and was checking out the graphics options. Most of the new graphics features are locked out because my computer is too old (Pentium 4, GeForce 6800). Makes me sad.

However they finally fixed the refresh rate problem where it only listed 60Hz. I can finally choose higher settings again.

I'm at work at the moment so can't check the statues, but is it still down?

Officially, yea. Blizzard extended the maintenance until 9PM EDT. Unofficially, it seems like the servers are up, but they're quirky. For instance, I (and a ton of others) can't get past the loading screen.

Weapon Skill - This stat will be removed from the game completely. Classes will start with all the weapon skills they need to know and will not need to improve them.

All the wasted hours capping every weapon skill.... That kinda sucks.

After about 2 hours of patching, I go to log in, and the game instantly crashes with no error. Wonderful.

Shattered!

I'm still about 3 hours and 15 mins from logging in so I hope this is all sorted by the time I get home.

Tried just deleting your Cache folder? Sounds similar to a problem I had multiple times on the PTR after patches, and clearing the cache always fixed it.

I still don't understand why people try to log in so hard during patch days, after years and years of patch days - You would think people would begin to understand to not bother trying to log in until the next day.

its called being 1337 .... ( or simply not having anything else to do at that time :p )

also if its related to MR_Candyman then the point is mute as the crash ( client error ) could be fixed in a week which is unacceptable ..

it should however be obvious that .. after a patch like this there will be lag :PP some ppl just dont get it :p

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
