But still searching for the perfect media center....

sala02t.jpg

Currently i have a xbox with XBMC, but the lack of hd support drives me crazy. I have a macbook connected to my 40'' tv for the HD content via LAN (3TB windows home server machine)... (VLC p subtitles suck on mac os x)

Guess i'll buy one of those HP Slimline for hd...

My "home theater." Not the most extravagant, but it works. I wish I got a better tv stand than a dresser though.

-42" Panasonic Viera

-Digital HD converter box

-PS3 w/ Pelican stand charger

-Small collection of Blu-Ray media and games

-Harry Potter collection

Ignore the above post, I got some better pictures of the living room setup...

post-185777-1220114407_thumb.jpg

That's our 42" Toshiba HDTV ("Romeo and Juliet" (1996) was on MOJO HD)

post-185777-1220114450_thumb.jpg

Our Motorola DCT6416 HD Cable Box/DVR (provided by COX cable), AMW (no name) DVD player, and SONY Surround Sound System.

post-185777-1220114506_thumb.jpg

Our lovely cable setup (we have 2 cable lines, so if we are recording 2 things (our DVR can record 2 things at once) and want to watch something else, we can watch the 3rd program on the TV's built-in tuner).
