Looking good but you might wanna avoid the Gigabyte board - if the K8N (754) board was anything to go by - it was crap.

Go for an Abit AV8 or MSI K8N board. Failing that, get an nForce4 board - they're shipping in quantities now. Asus A8N or Abit AN8 would be the way to go.

Anyway, as for me - see rig 1 in my sig

Well, it's in my signature.... Here goes :

Black Midtower case with ANTEC TruePower 550W

Athlon 64 3500+ (Newcastle)

ASUS A8N-SLI

Corsair TwinX PC3200C2 - 2 x 512Mb

1 x MSI nVidia 6600GT (no SLI as of now)

2 x Seagate 160GB SATA in RAID0 (striping)

1 x External LaCie USB 2.0 160GB (backup)

1 x Pioneer DVR-A08 black

1 x LiteON CD-R 52X black

1 x Sony floppy 1.44 black

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

----

NEC MultiSync LCD 1920NX

Microsoft keyboard (wired)

Logitech MX Laser mouse

Apple iPod 20gig

HP Photosmart 7960

----

That's about it.... for now.

Am i the only one with socket940/opteron then :p come on there has to be someone else on neowin with one lol.

585332305[/snapback]

    • Seems like Neowin has transitioned into being simps for the white house. I can't find a review for the last UFC games that came out.
