coolmonk
Well mine's in my sig. This is my first AMD rig...been an Intel boy all my years of PC usage. I must say...it performs real nice. Definitely beats my previous P4 setup of 3.67GHz. The weird thing is, I had a 6800GT before and now I have a non-GT...but gaming feels so much smoother and nothing skips a beat (whereas the P4 did). Amazing!!!

Martog
So two mac users who were brave enough to post and only one intel box which was in the first post.go amd! ROFLMAO. ( I guess you cant blame everyone for going amd...) 585346761 I posted my x64 box, which is AMD based. But, I have a 64bit computer for a couple years now, and it is not x64 or PowerPC based. :) I'll be brave enough to post my first 64bit box and I still have it :) (really, this thread should be 64bit box, not x64, as this is 64bit hardware discussion subforum, not x64, that way users of other archs can post, have it more open :) ) Sun UltraSparc 5 333MHz Ultra IIi with 2MB cache 64bit processor 256MB of ram with ECC 8GB IDE drive CDROM Floppy PGX 24 graphics, VGA compatible Built in audio, 10/100 LAN, serial ports, parallel 3 PCI slots, one short Sun 5 keyboard and mouse :ninja: :woot:

Martog
can you install win64 on that? 585381982 It isn't an Intel or AMD processor, so no. :) Sun makes their own hardware (like Apple does) and develops the OS and software to run on it, ie the Solaris (used to be SunOS) OS for it, which is natively 64bit now I believe, or will be in Solaris 10 for sure, which also seems to have a 64bit release for x64 as well, since Sun also has systems they make with AMD Opterons I believe in them. Only UNIX varients run on Sun boxes, though I think NT 4 was ported to the 32bit Sparc's back before the Ultra's (64bit) came out.
