Welcome to Neowin ANGEL, you probably already know this , but you might want to considering getting a larger/better PSU.....dont know anything about Qmax but its something you dont want to go the cheap route on.... better to upgrade b4 problems start....

Well got a new laptop today for my CS class (virtual pc on the powerbook wasnt cutting it) so i went with a mobile athlon 64

Averatec AV6235

Mobile A64 2800+

512MB DDR (1GB soon)

DVD burner (4x)

60gb 4200RPM

wifi

32mb shared video

wireless remote (actaully works in itunes)

The coolest thing about this guy is that i can watch dvds without booting windows, it has this front menu system (and a wireless remote) that allows to to play dvds, cds, and maybe more, its pretty slick and very handy esp with the remote

Looking good but you might wanna avoid the Gigabyte board - if the K8N (754) board was anything to go by - it was crap.

Go for an Abit AV8 or MSI K8N board. Failing that, get an nForce4 board - they're shipping in quantities now. Asus A8N or Abit AN8 would be the way to go.

HAHAHA you wish but no i have a true dual opteron system unlike yours who is just a 1x series opteron my is a 2x series opteron system better luck next time on having the better opteron system bro.

Well i will be getting more memory but over $200 PER stick for Corsiar CMX512R-3500LLPT thats alittle to rich for by blood now i got the that stick new for $55 long story but got it from http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_info.ph...roducts_id=3531

And i dont use my system for video editing nor gaming just as a workstation but in next 2 months def be getting new Quadro card im a die hard lover of those cards.
