ANova
I personally think it's all a waste of money but it's your decision. My only suggestion would be to replace that 6800 Ultra with an X800 XT PE or X850 XT as they're generally faster in a smaller pcb while drawing less power. There are also other ways to decrease that cost such as getting a cheaper motherboard (do you really need a $240 motherboard?) as well as different ram; you are paying for the brand after all. But again, that's totally up to you. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/279311-my-next-computer/page/5/#findComment-585398789 Share on other sites
xxpor
Im a nVidia fanboy but this will beat the 6800 ultra. for cheaper to. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-102-483&depa=0 Edit: you might like to see this from PC Magazine Edited February 2, 2005 by xxpor Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/279311-my-next-computer/page/5/#findComment-585398840 Share on other sites

vincent
Hey steven maybe you can get some of the parts from the frys right there on Baseline road just past S. Priest dr going toward the UACT school. Will they have some cheaper prices? Sqube
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't get all the parts from Newegg unless you REALLY want them all to arrive together or something. Shop around, see if you can't find deals and things of that nature. There definitely isn't any reason for you to get all the stuff from them unless you work there and get a commission on the stuff that you sell/buy.
