I wouldnt mind using NAV 2004 if it wasnt for the fact that when it does a scan, and finds viruses/adware and it gives u the option to repair or delete the infected files, i always seem to get "repair failed" and "delete failed". Im wondering why it does this???

Does anyone know the cause of this, and is having the same issue as me?

thats probably casued by the virus that is in use so to speak so u cant delete unless its not running

also repair failed maybe the file is the virus not infested by a virus

Thanks for your post,

You wouldnt happen to know a solution to this would you?, I mean it seems dumb on Nortons part because if a virus is detected on your system it should have access to that file, no matter what file it is on your system to repair (disinfect it) or even delete the file.

F-Secure has 3 engines I hear. Kaspersky, F-Prot, and their own Orion engine. That's gotta be a resource hog.

Actually it isn't. You heard right, it does have 3 engines and I'm running F-Secure for Servers on my primary home machine (Yes, I use Server 2003 for everything from gaming to skinning to coding) and it hasn't bogged down the system even ONCE. I have 512 megs of ram and an AMD 2000+

Never had any issue with the AV slowing down my system, and never had even 1 virus/trojan/dialer/malware for about +1.5 years now
