im looking for a way to have contacts completely seperate from each other, not restricted into a window. ive got floating contacts at the moment but it doesnt work that well with newer contact list dll's such as clistmodern (i cant drag contacts out of the window, however i can drag the contacts out to turn them into floating contacts on clist nicer then switch to clistmodern and they are still there). after this it works ok, but it is missing the big thing that i want, avatar support for the floating contacts (there is an option there to enable it when using clist nicer, but nothing changes when it has been enabled.)

ive got the newest builds of everything, i suspect im going to need a new plugin as development on floating contacts appears to have stopped. im hoping there is one around that i just dont know the name of.

You can add an avatar editing your details (Menu->View/Change my details), but I am not sure about the info box...

Anyone can recommand a good set of icons for miranda?

I basically want icons for ICQ, MSN, AIM and YIM that look more or less like the protocol icons.

I used to use amicons, but i cant find them anymore (they were kinda dated on their look anyway).

in the newest build of miranda, there's a bar up top with view modes and the like. I was wondering how to hide it; i can't seem to find the option. I can turn off everything else except that.
