That's ModernClear by RusselC.

I think you can find it on the addons site of miranda

How do I use an IEview skin?

*Assuming you are complete noob at this...

An IEView skin, skins your chat window like this (my favourite IEView skin).

To use it make sure you have ieview.dll in your Plugins folder and tabsrmm.dll. These plugins are available in the nightly build which you can get download from here. I believe tabsrmm_icon.dll needs to be in Plugins folder as well.

If Miranda is already open, make sure you've enabled ieview.dll and tabsrmm.dll then retart it.

Then do the following things:

What on the earth am I doing wrong? cheazles can you please mail me your version of dlls on [email protected] please?

PM me if possible, I am getting frusted now. Look at the screenie, all other menus in the red circle are missing, dunno why?

Please help.

Cheers,

Vijay

PS: will attach screenie later...ran out of space for attachments

@Vijay: If you don't have those options in your menus then you either do not have the correct versions or they haven't been enabled in Plugins (i.e. a tick next to ieview.dll in Options->Plugins). Can't post a screenshot as I'm at work.

The plugins I have currently are all included in the nightly build which I linked in my earlier post. Please download the build from there and try again. Make sure you backup before you install.

it looks ok here...pls help!!! this is buggin me like anything!!!

yeah, i have version 0.3.1.216. I know its a old version, but is avatar settings enabled in that version? I just tried to dl modern clist thingy at the miranda site and they gave me a moder.zip inside was two zip file and in each zip is a clist_modern.dll. Why is there two and when i put it in my plugin folder it does not show up under my plugin tree when i go into option. So i reverted back to version 0.3.1.216 and everything is working again.

SO can i avoid upgrading to the latest version and use the version i have for avatar?

    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
