And can I change tab styles somehow?

Yes you can change them from top to bottom, if you use tabsrmm:

If you want to customize a tab just right click over it and then Configure Tab Appereance

I'm having an issue, not with the skin per say, but when I go to Message Sessions > Message Window > Message Log Tab, I click the option for Standard Templates, or RTL templates, and Miranda just crashes on me. Either button, it doesn't matter. I am using the latest build from the blogs website. Any ideas?

[Edit]Ok, forget that, it works now for some reason. But, since I've got the skin applied, how do I skin the message window now?[/Edit]

Hi guys,

I think I mange the most things but there are still two issues.

As you can see in this screenshot:

I have two dropdown arrows with chatroom and no text.

also are my icons on my tabs not as nice as I would like to see any suggestions guys?

I was trying to simplify my chat window, so i disabled IEView and got all the fonts and colours the way i want them, but i can't find how do disable the date and timestamp. All i want to show is the username and message, but i've tried every option and i can't seem to get it down to that.

Can anyone help?

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer. But, I fixed the problem. :) Stupid me didn't have IEVIEW installed. :) Thanks though.

need help.

im new to miranda and have just finished customising it.

the screenshot below is how my miranda looks like:

i use ieview + scriver + longhorn ieview pack

the problem is..how come the longhorn ieview pack doesnt show up in the message dialogue (as seen in the screenie) ?

edit: problem solved! it actually works..i initially thought the ieview skins the entire chat window..so it's only the chat dialogue.. lol

Just a quick technical question from a Miranda newbie - I installed it last night but failed to speak with a contact. I double and single-clicked their name and icon but nothing happened. Any ideas?

I'm using Miranda build 0.4 with nothing but Tweak UI. If you've got IEView, or Tabsrmm I can't help you out :(.

Hum, i'm not sure when, but i recently lost the ability to change my MSN avatar. I have the latest whatever, including loadavatars, but the little box under the MSN section in opens where i can select my avatar is no longer there :(

i have no idea :p. if you want to be able to see your own display picture like the old interface, you can get the extended userinfo plugin. it'll add an option for you to "view/change your details" and you can set your avatars from there.

May I ask what icons are used in Miranda? And are you using special icons in your taskbar? They look nice.

i'm using the proxal icons for miranda, can be found at customize.org or miranda-im.org. for the star in my system tray, i'm just using the star from the crystal icon set (for miranda)

Ok i'm really getting confused now. I can't seem to get rid of the date/timestamps at all. All i want on the message log is the username and message.

I'm running clist modern and tabsrmm unicode.

Ummm... Can anyone help me? I have a couple questions.

1. I have the MyVista modern clist skin applied, but for some reason it won't let me change the size of my contact list. How can I do so?

2. ***For some reason, my IEView skins won't work. I have IEView and TABSrmm installed, and I did install and select the skin I wanted, but it won't appear. I do have the latest versions of the plugins.

3. How can I remove the protocol icons and move the status icons to the right side?

4. Is it possible to have my clist as an actual window in Windows, like the AIM buddy list?

5. Is it possible to view/edit my profile?

***Apparently the issue is my Tabsrmm, which is outdated. I will update if this is indeed the issue.

I basically need to get rid of the blue text, and the fact that my messages come under 'Unknown Contact'
