XBOX 360 Specs fully leaked!

Recommended Posts

well its good to here that they will have a free xbox live service, and yeah thoses specs sound pretty cool, now i will just sit here and wait for some ps3 leeks, i am wondering how the competition is going to be.

I've heard sqawk about two versions being available...a lower end "just the games, please" version and the "whole kit and kaboodle" version for up to $200 more.

Although I'm certain to buy the loaded version, I have converns about the reliability of wireless controllers for gaming. Anyone have any experience?

I'm concerned that this version is apparently vertical in nature. I just have to think that this puts your disc more at risk of scratches when you insert/remove them.

Now, anyone care to take a guess when a <cough> backup program </cough> will be come available?

It can be mounted horizonatally, just like the PS2.

How do they expect to get by with just 8.5gb Dual Layer DVDs.

Xbox needs a next gen Optical Disc, especially with all the HD stuff thats guna go into these games. I thought MS was pro HD-DVD anyway?

I still believe Blu-ray is the better technology :)

It's called compression, the xbox uses it ALOT most games uncompressed would be DVD-9.

They will uncompress it on the fly with one of the processors they have in the machine.

This will also make the games cheaper not having to press expensive media and the sell it to us.
