the problem is that he doesnt want to see that nintendo is offering more than the availability of their older games for download. the online service will likely be far more fleshed out than a simple download service. go watch xbox movies until more info about the console is released, stop getting down on nintendo when you don't know what they've got in the works.

Im quite capable of seeing what Nintendo has to offer, or lack of. They are falling behind so they copy what everyone else is doing, just because ive got an xbox sig doesnt mean im a fanboy, i didnt really care for xbox 1 but i love what Microsoft is cooking up.

the console will be able to play all nintendo (most) according to engadget. Errr???

How many people actually have their old nintendo 64 games?

This thing will sink faster than the titanic.

You download games for free that aren't cube or revolutions peoples. They specifically said in the conference "Most of the games will be available for download, even new games will be available, but for a price"

Meaning that Pre-Cube is free. Now quit complaining. You can just buy this console and never buy a game ever because you'll have enough games to last you the rest of your life.

You download all these games from Nintendo online service, not that you use your old game cartridges. Did you see 10 cartridge slots in the prototype. They even said it out loud. YOU WILL UPLOAD OLD GAMES FROM THE NET.

Man people getting dumber or what?

I'm being a complete noob and just jumping into this thread without backreading, but since this didn't show up on the gamer page yet...

I assume everybody saw that? If so, huge appologies.

I repeat, I am being a noob.

Nintendo has a very loyal user base. Complete Nintendo catalogue is like dream come true for them. Stop being self centered and quit knocking Nintendo down.

Yes I agree, Nintendo definitely is copying what everyone else is doing. I forgot how innovative the Xbox360 is going to be with its wireless controllers with triggers/thumbsticks/rumble features, PowerPC processor, ATI Video card, and memory card. I have never seen a console have all those features before. Damn Nintendo's GameCube to hell for copying off Microsoft's future console, they shall rue the day!

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

Nintendo knows its fighting a losing battle, the cheap shot at PSP proved how cocky they are, everythings about onling gaming thesedays xbox proved it and now Sony and Nintendo are trying to catch up with their half assed efforts.

Sony and Nintendo are trying to catch up to what? A console that lost billions, has medicore sales, and never even got its foot in the door in Japan? What its online service that has like 2 million suscribers out of 20 million consoles? Yea Sony and Nintendo are sure falling behind to a successful console.

Hi troll, if you hate nintendo so much. Why are you still here. Obviously you will change no ones mind here, neither will others change yours. So what is the point of your constant bickering.

We undertstand, you are dissapointed. No one gives a damn. Now go to XBOX 360 thread and jizz on the screenshots or something and leave this thread with dignity.

You are wrong. Both Nintendo & Sony have realised the potential of online gaming otherwise they wouldnt have emphasized its importance and being "connected".

Compared to Sonys PlayOnline efforts which only actually supported a very limited number of games and had no matchmaking service or any kind of central hub, and then there was Nintendo that was stuck in the dark ages refusing to buy into the online gaming market.

Xbox took it, packaged it, and sold it and it was immensly successful. Now Sony and Nintendo realise and are playing catchup riding on the success of Xbox Live.

Sega AND Nintendo realized it about 10 years ago when they had the X-band modem and service. Please don't try and make it like MS invented the online game/matchmaking console services and made it successful, it hurts.

What's wrong with admitting they where wrong?

585935220[/snapback]

lol wrong again.

Its not the question of "Who did it first", but rather "Who was first successful at it". Apple didnt invent HDD based MP3 players first, but theirs was the first best implementation of it. Same with Xbox's Live.

Im not saying MS invented it and im well aware of X-Band. We werent as connected to the internet back then as we are now, hats off to them both, but Microsoft brought it to the masses in a neat little package. Just like Sony brought gaming to the masses with the PSX.

Im quite capable of seeing what Nintendo has to offer, or lack of. They are falling behind so they copy what everyone else is doing, just because ive got an xbox sig doesnt mean im a fanboy, i didnt really care for xbox 1 but i love what Microsoft is cooking up.

They are all revealing this stuff within 24 hours of eachother. HOW THE HELL could anyone be copying anyone else.

Im on about copying the current generation of consoles, Nintendo stubbornly refused to buy into online gaming, Microsoft made it successful now Nintendo suddenly decide its time to get into the game.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
