I am at work so I can't listen to it, what is it the Bowser level theme from Mario64?

from http://mozlapunk.web-log.nl/

Do we have more prove of the game Nintendo is playing here?

At the fake Nintendo ON video, when the timer hits 3:14, you see this:

Nintendo Revolution Day - 512.000.000

Now, bear with me:

512.000.000 : 1000 = 512.000 (Millisec. -> Sec.)

512.000 : 60 = 8533,3 (Sec. -> Min.)

8533,3 : 60 = 142,2 (Min. -> Hours.)

142,2 : 24 = 5,9 (Hours -> Days)

So there we have 6 days and May 13 (the day this video was leaked) + 6 days = May 19

May 19. Again. Coincidence? Suuuure...

e3-2005-revolution-revealed-20050517072530867.jpg

look at the slant on the "dock"....with it slanted like that when it looks like he's plugging it into the "dock" he is most likely just plugging it into the bottom of the standing console as there is no wall there....the only back wall on the "dock" is up against that little slanted part on the back of the Revolution....

the whole point of our discussion was that the dock was a CHARGER, leading to the conclusion that the revolution has a rechargeable battery in there somewhere? perhaps the blue light is actually a battery meter! haha...

the power cord obviously goes into the dock, you can see it from a couple angles throughout iwatas speech.

585940391

Yeah, the video has me about 90% sure the plug is going into the dock. So next question, what other purpose would this serve? I'm starting to think I may have actually been correct.

Edit: As mentioned in the post below the dock does appear to be someone open in the back. There's still room to plug something in... and there's always the possibility that the pictures a hoax, but, yeah, cross out that 90% above. :p

What is the point of charging the console though?

585940423

You need to read the last few pages. The whole charging discussion came about because I guessed that this is gameboy replacement as well as the gamecube replacement. I explain it a little more in depth if you want to go back and check.

Yet another thing... read about crystal chronicle and listen to what he says about it. The entire basis of the GC version was to have seperate screens (played on the gameboy), right? Does anyone really think this will be the case with the revolution version? Pluging in the gameboy to play? The quotes sure don't make it sound that way.

Where is this puzzle piece on the page?

Holy crap! The music from the Smash Brother Online site is the same music from the Nintendo On video. Only problem is that the Smash Brothers site looks very quickly put together and not professional for such a big game.

Smashbrothersonline.com is a fan-site..

At the fake Nintendo ON video, when the timer hits 3:14, you see this:

I remember seeing that on the video and had no clue what the hell that number meant. If they are pulling some sort of ILOVEBEES thing and no one realizes it, that will be hilarious.

No the power cord goes into Revolution. I watched the conference carefully 2-3 times. Iwata pulls the plug from Revolution and leaves the dock behind. Dock is just used as a stand, nothing more.

Once again, Iwata mentioned revolution can be placed horizontally or verticially, the dock can only position revolution vertically. So your dock rechargeable argument does not hold water.

Hi, me again. People are saying that he plugged it in at the conference. I've just watched it ten times, and call me crazy, but it really really looks like he's plugging a wire into the dock, not into the console. Not only this, but after he does it he shifts the entire thing a little bit to the side, making sure it is directly facing the audience. At first I thought this was just a little adjustment for perfection's sake, but now, yeah... it really looks like he's plugging in the dock.

Go to 34 minutes and 38 seconds, then watch it a few times. Thanks for making me check this out.

Does anyone have a good quality DL link? Steaming is a pain.

Edited to fix the time.

It's the powercord...

I just have to say Nintendo is brilliant. Weeks ago nobody cared what the revolution was going to be at least not the majority of us. It was all about the XBOX 360 and the PS3. Simply by doing what they have done they now have everyone talking about the revolution. This all looks to be an excellent marketing strategy. I havent cared about nintendo since the SNES but I must say I am extremely interested now simply because I dont know. Im willing to bet most of you feel the same way. If nintendo pulls out something impressive here tomorrow I think they will get a much larger chunk of the market this go around than anyone would have expected. I dont think it will be a majority but the will play a bigger part.

Nintendo always does this. Nothing new for me.

I'm going to seriously doubt the ARG speculation, until we see an official link between someone/something from Nintendo and this site

what would be very nice, would be playing goldeneye multiplayer online, running around

like a maniac letting your RCP90 mow down all before and after you, whilst throwing so many mines all over the place, that walking across no mans land between the two koreas would seem like a walk in the park compared playing the game..

 oh happy days

Ok since everyone making obscene theories, for the kick of it, here is mine. This is no way true or be possibly true.

I do not think Nintendo Revolution will be a VR kit.

Just taking the facts from Iwata and past interviews, here is what I can come up with.

1. Nintendo Revolution is tiny for a reason and has a standard design.

2. Nintendo Revolution has no controller shown yet! Why???

3. Nintendo Revolution can be set horizontally or vertically.

4. Nintendo Revolution can be hooked up to your PC monitor.

5. Nintendo Revolution will use broadcom wireless chipsets.

6. Nintendo Revolution will use SD flash cards for additional content.

7. Nintendo Revolution connects to the internet.

All this, you can come up with the conclusion that Nintendo Revolution can be hooked on your PC as either internal componet like a DVD internal drive(horizontal position) or externally (vertical position)!!! A PC gamers dream.

You will be able to insert any USB based keyboard and mice to play games on it! Or use gamecube gamepad if you want the conventional way of control or use Nintendo's official accessories. So the way to control your games would be limitless and at your own comfort. You like a gamepad, a joystick or keboard/mouse combo, its all at your discretion! Revolution of control!

You will be easily able to switch from from the console to your PC instantly with special software! If you remember, nintendo patented a system that is able to browse the net, play games, watch TV all at the same time!!! That means Revolution will compliment any PC out there.

Hope you enjoyed this untradtional conspiracy theory. :D

The Big N returns

The Big N returns...tomorrow. 19th the great Day. Your Day. The day that all you've been waiting.

Since I saw Revolution and RS, videogames have changed. This change is better.

I'm sure you'll say the same...tomorrow.

"touch is good, but feel is better" is a memorable quote which can describe RS.

Nintendo hasn't shown the full Revolution. You don't see anything yet. You can't feel disappointed.

You don't have a reason to be worried.

Let me check the next thing:

"2 or 3 times...than GC..."

Hahahaha. So, honestly, Did you listen something about Revolution from Satoru Iwata on Nintendo's conference? Not yet? So...

Why can you be sure that Revolution isn't too potent?

Let me tell you guy that Revolution is better than Xbox 360. More powerful.

I'm sure. Too much Sure. Broadway and Hollywood are the BEST combination. Nowadays, one of the best technologies.

Did you hear something about Broadway?

Did you hear something about Hollywood?

Let's go.

I wanna see you guy how you'll be impressed, when someone(...) does a great Revolution's demostration on this E3. (Who said Hallo Killer?)

Tomorrow...Tomorrow..the big N will return.

You know where is the Revolution (and not what is the Revolution). it is on the controller pad.

You also know Satoru Iwata doesn't say Revolution will play DVD. He says "12 CMS DISCS" (...)

You also Know Nintendo has always been coming out a different format.

This Generation, belongs to Nintendo...

So. Be patient. Tommorrow, Tommorrow...you'll see the Revolution.

You should trust on Nintendo. Give to Nintendo your patience.

See you guys...see you

The more you read the more the whole Nintendo-On vid seems a set-up from Nintendo themselves, the shear quality of it isn't just someone in a bedroom wanting to hoax. The date and time theory would also run with the Nintendo clips from their own site giving the itinery of the show. The emergance of this http://www.smashbrothersonline.com/ why wasn't this noted before and only come to light now, holding the same music as the video, and also the puzzle piece.

Nintendo know exactly what they are doing and they are getting the gamers excited about it. Letting their imaginations run wild, wouldn't surprise me if they might hunt for some theories and try implimenting them. They said themselves they would like feedback on the colour of the final machine, so why not the controls too?

I'm pretty certain that somewhere along the line the VR headset will be shown, not that design but some variation. As has been said before, not for all games but those that suit, the Goldeneyes, Resi Evils and Metroids.

You just know that this time they are coming out with something different and people will either love it or hate it. But then again you don't have to buy it if you don't want to.

I loved the idea someone said of the Gameboy Micro being connected to the Revolution and downloading NES/SNES games for portability, that would just be amazing.

At the end of the day it's still a year away and there is still Zelda to come on the GC so I'm happy whatever the outcome of E3 even if I don't hear anything else from them. :D

    • Microsoft hides these secret Windows 11 performance boost settings available on every PC by Sayan Sen Windows enthusiasts often look for ways to extract as much performance out of their systems as possible, and it's often the case that they try and do so while trying to minimize the heat and power consumption. This is especially relevant in the case of mobile Windows PCs since laptops and notebooks tend to get hot and management of that heat and power is harder in such a form factor. As such users often turn to techniques like under-volting which can be used to squeeze out the maximum capabilities of a chip while also maintaining lowered power levels. There are official apps from AMD and Intel with the likes of Ryzen Master and XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility). While these are quite handy, most enthusiasts probably prefer to dig into the BIOS and play around with settings there like Curve Optimizer on Ryzen, which lets users set various frequency-voltage scaling values. These are essentially called P-States. If you are not familiar with them, Processor Power Management is done through Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) P-states and C-states. While P-states or performance pwoer states handle CPU voltage-frequency scaling, C-states deal with CPU sleep states so that some of the CPU functions, which are not necessary at that moment, can be disabled. The P-states and C-states work together to make the processor run more efficiently. It helps the OS and apps determine which cores can be parked and which should be boosted. Of course not every user is an enthusiast or knows the technicalities and integrities of how things like overclocking or undervolting work. Thankfully for them Windows itself offers something pretty cool, though it is hidden by default on all systems. By default, Windows only has two P-States, "Minimum Processor State" and "Maximum Processor State." However, this can be changed with a Registry trick to expand the options under a secret "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown. This essentially enables the HWP or hardware P-States available on a device, and these are not controlled just by the OS itself as the underlying hardware gets involved too. In total there are five Processor Performance Boost Mode profiles that control how Windows requests and allows CPU turbo/boost behavior under the different power policies. They are: Disabled: In this mode, processor boosting is effectively turned off. The CPU will avoid entering turbo or boost frequencies and instead operate closer to its base frequency ceiling. This can significantly reduce power consumption and heat output, but at the cost of reduced burst performance and responsiveness in short workloads. Enabled: This is the standard behavior where boost functionality is allowed under normal conditions. The processor can opportunistically increase frequency when workload demands it, balancing performance gains with power and thermal constraints as managed by the system. Aggressive: Aggressive mode favors performance more heavily, allowing the CPU to enter higher boost states more readily and sustain them longer. This should in theory improve responsiveness under bursty or heavy workloads but increases power draw and thermal output compared to the default enabled behavior. Efficient Enabled: This mode still allows boosting, but with a stronger bias toward energy efficiency. The system attempts to use boost more selectively, avoiding unnecessary frequency spikes when the performance gain is marginal. Efficient Aggressive: This is a hybrid approach where boost is still performance-responsive, but the system continuously weighs efficiency more heavily than in Aggressive mode. It aims to deliver noticeable performance improvements while reducing wasted power in less demanding scenarios. Here's how to enable the Processor performance boost mode: Open Registry Editor: Press Win+R, type regedit, and click OK. Go to: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7 (where HKLM stands for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_) Modify the value of Attributes from 1 to 2 (you can find modify option by right-clicking) After that, exit Registry, you should now be able to see the new "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown menu: As you can see there are now five new P-States or CPPC states or power profile available that help define the boost mode processor setting on your PC. Wrapping it up here's a quick run-down of the settings as defined by Microsoft itself. Setting Description Disabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is disabled. Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) behaviour is disabled. Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Efficient Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Efficient Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows calculates the desired extra performance above the guaranteed performance level, and asks the processor to deliver that specific performance level. Efficient Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows always asks the processor to deliver the highest possible performance above the guaranteed performance level. In the next part we shall be comparing these settings to explore how much of a benefit or regression they can provide in terms of performance and power efficiency. If you decide to change the values on your system and are experiencing problems like crashes or an overheating PC, make sure to revert the steps back to the original state.
    • I think he means you haven't reviewed previous UFC games. Of course it doesn't matter... Every time you just report on something that involves the President even if just simply what happened you guys usually get accused of being anti-Trump. We live in fun times.
    • So how did you solve the problem? Disabling Secure Boot isn’t a solution.
    • Another devilish issue surrounding these certificates is what can happen with old, unsuspecting PCs that nevertheless have Secure Boot enabled. In my case, it was a Dell with a 3rd-gen Core chip (so about 13 years old). As of the last few weeks, it was suddenly BSOD'g within about 5 minutes of booting. Turns out it was because of MS's "Secure-Boot-Update" scheduled task, which is scheduled to run 5 minutes after login. It's explained in gory detail here (this is not my post, but it was where I found the answer), but the short version is that this legacy system would need fairly elaborate, manual certificate intervention since MS's automatic cert update method cannot work. How to do that is linked late in the thread. https://www.bleepingcomputer.c...od-caused-by-scheduled-task Secure Boot wasn't at all important for this particular PC, so I disabled it to be done with the problem.
