Use fricckin search. 585959320[/snapback] NOD32 is second place.. First place goes to Kaspersky, unbeatable detection rates. NOD32 has a better heuristic engine (but the upcoming KAV 2006 has a much better one).
0 adrianarrakis
I used to work with F-Prot until i get some little virus, the F-Prot could not detect him, changed to nod32, but nod32 was just detect him not desinfect, and now i use eTrust ezAntivirus from CA and i have never encountered any problems since .. 0 GrandMaster
kaspersky has the best defenitions.. but the hype is with NOD because its extremely fast real time detection and fairly easy to get a crack for. btw, majority vote doesnt mean best.. 0 megamanXplosion
I also voted Kaspersky. They have the best detection and fix rate in the industry, user friendly interface, hourly updates with extended databases which also protect from spyware, etc. Really, if you're looking into anti-virus software for protection then Kaspersky is the clear winner. If you're looking at anti-virus software just because it's light on resources, then don't come crying when you're caught with your pants down ;)
