Avast! looks cool and have good protection (compared to free AVs), but takes up some good amount of resources, which is still fine (when i used it before NOD32). And I have to agree how it beats AVG. :)

Other than the bigg... footprint, Norton/Symantec are quite good but lack the speed for detecting run-time virus/trojans/malwares...

I'm trying out PC-Cillin 2005 Internet Security and is quite satisfy with it..

Maybe Symantec went a bit too far into its prog and not target its core business of producing a good & lite AV tool.. sad..

i use EZ armor, the new anti virus that comp associates put out. found like 150 "viruses" that norton/symantec missed (i previously ran that) but im still not confident about EZ armor, any thoughts on it?

there was a virus or Trojan that wasn't detected by my NOD32 ... but my friend's Kaspersky has gave him a warning and deleted it :( .... I really love the NOD32 but that made me think of changing it :( ... what do you guys think about that ? .... and is it ok to attach that virus to let you see it ?

I've been wondering about F-Prot for a while now. My parents have a fairly old laptop with only 128MB of RAM (can't upgrade) and I've heard that F-Prot only uses about 5MB of RAM, which is fairly appealing.

How well does it stand up to the more "full bodied" AV programs?
