New version available. Not many big changes.

Version 0.2.0.5 (BETA)

- Improved appearance of the computer cleanup progress dialogs.

- Fixed version number in settings - about section.

- Improved Update Agent, no longer used NCControls.ocx.

Thollian, I've been busy as it has been a crazy summer so far, with looking for a job, going to picnics & parties and stuff, but NeoCleaner is still in active development. There will be less releases though, and the releases to come will be packed with more features at one time than more releases in a week that would have less.

A new version is available!

Version 0.2.1.0 (BETA)

- Added Search Assistant AutoComplete cleaning.

- Added Start Menu Order Cache cleaning.

- Added Tray Notification Cache cleaning.

- Added Window Size/Position Cache cleaning.

- Added Start Menu Recent Programs cleaning.

- Started file search implementation.

- New Update Agent. Downloads a silent installer that updates all files. This should result in a smaller download size as the installer uses compression.

- Update Agent download progress dialog now reports bytes received/total, percent complete, speed and time remaining.

Please use the installer, Update Agent will not work until after this build is installed.

yey!

Testing now

:edit:

My Bug list.

-When cleaning it shows current keys/folders cleaning. If the name is longer than the cleaning box is it will show under the progress bar. Either have it cut off the path with ... or make the box extend vertical NOT horizontal to display the path.

Great app works well and all, Looks great too. My only suggestion is that the header image (the neocleaner part at the top) doesn't look great. Maybe try something different or get a designer to help you out.

If your interested I have done alot of UI design and would be happy to help. Keep up the good work.

New version available.

Version 0.2.1.3 (BETA)

- Optimized file search routine.

- Finished temporary files folders cleaning implementation.

- Fixed problem with cleaning details text showing on more than one line.

- Fixed version text in about section to reflect reshacked version numbers. (VB cannot change the third digit in the four digit version number scheme.)

Available via Update Agent. Let me know how the new UA works for you.

Slimy, that is what should happen. 0.2.1.0 has a new update agent, the older versions will not work.

then the update agent needs to be able to update itself not much point having an auto update if it can only auto update some of the time.

    • "...a low price of just $340..." I don't think it means what you think it means.
    • This Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 32GB RAM with RGB is a great deal for limited time by Sayan Sen Memory prices have been through the roof for a while, though it seems like things might finally be getting better. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
