Ello, probably my first post in this thread (I've viewed it on and off, though not read it all through).

Anyway, playing Dr.Mario on my dear old NES and listening to Children of Bodom's album "Are You Dead Yet?" and thinking "omfg, this really is awesome after all."

Definitely something people who like In Flames should listen to. And that's about it for my post. ;)

If you like both CoB and In Flames, you should try Sinergy ;)

Some good albums I've just gotten or recently gotten back into:

Capharnaum - Fractured

Cephalic Carnage - Anomalies

1349 - Hellfire

Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast (Re-recording)

Stormwarrior - S/T (not as good as Northern Rage, though)

Quo Vadis - Defiant Imagination

Cryptopsy - None So Vile

Tried... didn't like, sorry. They were nothing like CoB or In Flames at all. +_+

If you're looking for stuff like CoB, try Kalmah and also Norther (earlier stuff). As for In Flames alternatives, try Cipher System, Dark Tranquillity, The Duskfall, Darkest Hour, Hatesphere, Dawn Of Relic and Sonic Syndicate. PM me if you want more recommendations!

im trying really hard to get into The Black Dahlia Murder... anyone here like them? What i do like about them is their tight riffs... what i dont like are the vocals (dont really care though) and the all out death metal sound ... i'll just have to listen more i guess... took me a while to get into Darkest Hour too.

    • never mind the video had a couple swear words... gosh it was funny!
    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
