I can't stand The Black Dahlia Murder. Their vocalist irritates me. Sure, its cool to swap and change between shreeks and death growls, but every damn verse on every damn song gets annoying.

that's what i dig about tbdm, the switching vocals. it's something other than the monotone dark growling of all the metalcore i listen to :laugh:

They're good live, too.

I just can't get enough Stormwarrior.  Northern Rage has to be one of the best albums I've heard in a long time.  It's such a great combination of power/thrash/speed metal, with great riffage, great lyrics (dealing with Norse Mythology), and one of the best closing tracks ever, Lindisfarne.

ebay. new & sealed directly from a metal recordlabel. they only charge 4 euros for shipping & handling too, no matter how much you order. i think i bought like 11 cds by now.

E-bay. Why do I live in a **** country? Anyway, that's cool. I bought used CD's in USA in Wherehouse for like &6-7, but this is sweet (I figure it pays off only if you buy more, because of the shipping, right?). Enjoy!

yea. it pays off. cds are like 12-15euros in a store here. that's why i buy em at shows for 10 or less. but prices on ebay are killer. i love increasing my metal(core) collection :D

There's a great record store here locally. They usually have everything you could want for < $13, which is reasonable. There's also The End Records' online store, which is damn nice.

shelter, meatmen etc...for like $8. i was quite happy back then. back in ny i was shocked how expensive cds were there.

It really depends where you shop. If you shop retail stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City you're alright, but you shop malls and other money vacuums you'll spend $18 or more a CD. It's ridiculous. I honestly don't know how such places remain in business. A lot of stupid people with too much money I presume.

it also depends on the added tax. i wanted to buy a cd in ny which was 9.99 and they added almsot 20% tax. i bought some cds during touring the new englad states and they only added like 8% or less.
