WTF happened to the Metal Club?! There used to be new music posted every day. I miss the Metal Club. :(

On that note, new Chimaira CD! I've gotta say, I do like it so far, but I haven't gotten a chance to give it a good listen when I wasn't working or something at the same time. I supported the indiegogo campaign and got the vinyl, but they delivered it to my parents address because I thought I was moving by now. Gonna have to go grab that.

Well, unless other people are going to reply with something else, then go for it! I personally like a number of metalcore bands as well so I know I don't mind. Post YouTubes when you can though so I can be lazy and just press play all the way down the list at work.

Hell if I know what's been posted before or not, just posting the song playing right now:

FIXED!

I just heard about Scar the Martyr pretty recently, and they have some really good stuff.

Has anybody listened to the new The Devil Wears Prada album?  I was super disappointing with it.  His voice sounds terrible throughout the whole album.

Here's one that's a little more karate-kicking Hardcore type music, but somewhat interesting:

Anyone out here listening to cyber metal? Ok, chances are nobody does because the few bands that perform it are mostly of French/Swiss/Russian origin. So I'll go ahead and introduce it to you because you're open-minded people.

It's basically industrial metal with more synthesizers by definition, yet it sounds more like MDM to me because it's much more energetic than most heavy industrial songs.

These guys remind me of turmion k?til?t

Just found out that Benjamin Nominet, founder and vocalist of my all-time favorites Sybreed has quit. Unless a miracle happens way down the road, that effectively is also the end of Sybreed, for his unusual rhythm and odd tone of voice greatly defines(-ed?) their highly unique sound.

Next day will never come...

    • This is about the already discredited 2025 announcement. Not the current one, which I've heard nothing negative about in the academic literature.
    • So, for $60 we got GTA 5 WITH online. Now for $80, we get a game missing areas (shops locked to the $100 version) and no online. Progress!
