Mx
But in Acid 2 test it shows exact same as IE 6, but apart from that, it's rocking. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/350014-internet-explorer-7-beta-1/page/3/#findComment-586283210 Share on other sites
Veedems Veteran Posted July 28, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 28, 2005 Wow, it's terrible. The file menu is locked below the tabs. Using Luna, the file menu looks extremely bad because it's too thin. The forward button is cut off on the right. And, in all their genius, they set the default search engine to google. The only good thing, that I've seen so far, is the support for png alpha blending. Like I said, PNG Alpha blending finally works and I'm sure CSS support has improved. LUTZIFER
Tsk tsk, kids these days  586281325[/snapback] lol! I'm probably old enough to be your dad. I just hate how people add in those smart@ss remarks when someone mentions a program that they hate. Oh and "Tsk tsk, kids these days" was exactly what came to my mind about your comment in the first place. Hurmoth
I know that the website (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/ie7/default.mspx) says that IE7 beta is already available to MSDN Subscribers, but I still can't find anyone. Anyone else have it yet? D e v i a n t
Just installed IE7 and I must say I am surprisingly liking it. Tabs look very nice, better than FireFox. Add On Manager-IE7 has extensions, I can see a whole lot of new extensions coming out for IE7. Over all the SP2 version GUI is very attractive and will now give Firefox a run if not better than the default theme in Firefox. IE7 seems to improve on rendering as Web Pages come up smooth-fast and Flawless. Phishing Filter has excellent Artificial Intelligence from what I have see thus far. Yes you will need to Validate Windows in order to install IE7! ;) Edited July 28, 2005 by BoyRacer Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/350014-internet-explorer-7-beta-1/page/3/#findComment-586283334 Share on other sites

Kr0z
I wonder how I will react to IE7 after using Firefox for the last 18 months. It's going to be a bit awkward at first I think. But very exciting.
