Vista Beta 1 Icons - XP Working

Took me a while but I now have a download link for my icons, its only tempary though

My Shell32

Its contains

Shell32.dll

Explorer.exe

Mydocs.dll

Shellstyle.dll

7zip.exe

You need 7zip for most of my future downloads, I need 7zip to get them small enough

also, hear is my log off thats finnished

and I now have the dialog box for when you chane the desktop color pretty much the same, I still haven't got the shutdown dialog box sorted, I don't think its in shell32

Sorry, Ive gone completly mad, Hear are all my vista files on offer, also I have now got an entire skin completed by the name of inspirat, it is similar to vista but not that dull black colour, see attach for full list of file, please e-mail me and let me know wich one you want, the email adress is

I am really sorry about this but I have got a few trojan horses, I managed to salvege the following files and they are free of viruses ect, if you find anything wrong with them virus wise let me know imeadiently and I will take them offline and fix them, other than that they will be available online for at least till vista is realesed.

For people with tweak ui, as you may of noticed "my pictures" and "my videos" both have the same icon. this is because with vista the is only 1 folder called "pictures and videos".

If you want to replicate this the create a folder in "my documents" called "Pictures and Videos" and using tweak ui select the "My Computer" tab. Then by "folder" there is a drop down list, select "My pictures" and select "change location", move it to "Pictures and Videos", do this with "My Videos" too.

Also you may have noticed I have been using "Pictures and Videos" not "My Pictures and videos", this is because with vista they are diching the "my" bit so It would me "Music" instead of "My Music", "Computer" instead of "My Computer" and "Documents" instead of "My Documents".

Changing "My Music" to "Music" is not a problem, just go into "(My) Documents" and rename "My music"

___I will add how to change "My Computer" and "My Documents" in an edit below this text when I find out how___

I have made the pack and it will be available soon (as soon as I get rid of those annoying trojans) any querys, please email [email protected] and don't keep on asking me for the pack, when its ready it will be online. I am getting loads of emails saying "can I have the pack please", I don't want to be annoying its just that if I email it to you I don't want you getting anything else with it, eg trojans :argh: new6.gif, see above

Yes-ye4s-yes.gifI'm happy now, trajans gone, happy computer. I am now going to resume work on my vista pack installs. What would be helpful though is for some information about how to make install files, any information would be very useful. At the moment all a can do is the winzip self extractors. This has been fine for installs like

"Vistapapers.exe" An install that adds the Vista Wallpapers

"Vistamsstyle.exe" An install that adds the Vista visual style

Both these are now available by email,

please note that the msstlye is massively beta, you can see it in the post above this one, look at the close,minimise,maximise/restore and help buttons. Also look at the start button.

For all you lot who use the "classic" interface for control panel and want those icons changing, you don't need to. It makes it look good but windows Vista "classic" interface uses the same icons. See below

System Files. New Bitmaps, Icons and Animations. This will also give you a new login dialog box and bootskin.

Winamp skin*. A new skin for winamp.

Windows Media Player Skin* An aero skin for WMP

Vista MSSTYLES. This will add an non-transparent Aero.msstlyes and Royale.msstyles, without altering Luna.msstyles. If I can get software I will make a transparent Aero.msstyles instead.

There may also be other things. Items with a * are not definate. If anyone finds any information on transparent MSSTLES then please put a coments on this webpage. Click the Windows Vista tab and select the "tranparent MSSTYLES" option. Thanks
