Edit_By the way, you get the propper My Computer icon in the pack, The R2D2 is just me messing around, it dosen't come in the replicator as the default icon by you can find it in C:\Windows\System32\filestypes.dll

Whatever, just want to say that your desktop looks awsome and, more importantly...Boulevard of Broken Dreams is one of my all-time favorite songs along with "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi!

I want that Media Player skin. . Anyone have a link for that directly?

its not a skin, its a stand alone Widget. you can download it with my pack when it comes out or you can download it. I will post a link when I find it.

here is the screenshot it was based upon. As you cab see in the quicklaunch the "shortcut to desktop" icon has not changed at all since Windows XP, wich I think is very boring and it will probably be canged in a later beta version of Vista anyway so in my pack I am usind this icon.

If anyone has any problems with this then you can change it back to the XP icons, use Resource Hacker and open the followind files Shell32.dll and Explorer.exe. Cange the icons back to the origional XP icons and then using replacer. This will not damage the uninstall file or stop it uninstalling properly.

The wiget has been based on this image

O.K. I have a bit of a problem with my pack. In the uninstall. I need away that I can get your orional files into the uninstall. The only time I have seen this done is with bricopacks. Dose anybody know where I can get a Bricopack maker from. i would be very helpful for your assistance. There are some example bricopackes on CrystalXP. Unfortunately the Longhorn one is all backward of Vista and the Vista one is just plain blue. Otherwise I would of just posted a link to one of them.

If anyone has any idea of where to get a Bricopacks maker, I think its called bricomix, then please email me

Does this work as it should? A litle sceptic to apply such packages.

You should be, it will work as well as other bricopacks. I haven't heard of a bricopack causing problems and if it dose, bricopacks make a system restore point when you install them and the uninstall contains your system files, not the authors. this pack only replaces the bitmaps inside the system files, not the system file.

    • I just looked on my computer and there are settings and log files for utilities I have never even turned on!
    • O&O ShutUp10 3.1.1104 by Razvan Serea O&O ShutUp10 offers a simple yet effective way to take control of your Windows privacy. It provides access to almost 50 privacy-related tweaks, most of them hidden or not easily accessible to the average computer users. Using a very simple interface, you decide how Windows 10/11 should respect your privacy by deciding which unwanted functions should be deactivated. Using ShutUp10 you can easily disable Windows Defender, turn off telemetry, disable peer-to-peer updates, turn off Wi-Fi Sense, disable automatic Windows updates, turn off and reset Cortana and more. ShutUp10 allows you to create a System Restore point before you apply any changes, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems. O&O ShutUp10 is entirely free and does not have to be installed – it can be simply run directly and immediately on your PC. And it will not install or download retrospectively unwanted or unnecessary software, like so many other programs do these days! O&O ShutUp10 Free and Premium The latest version brings O&O ShutUp10 Premium, expanding the app’s long-standing privacy controls with automatic enforcement of user-defined settings. Instead of manually rechecking options after every Windows update, users can set their preferred privacy configuration once—or apply recommended settings in a single click—and the tool continuously monitors them in the background. If Windows 10 or 11 re-enables disabled features or introduces new data collection paths, Premium restores the chosen settings automatically without user intervention. The free version remains available and fully functional for manual adjustments, offering the same core privacy controls for Windows. However, the Premium tier is aimed at users who want long-term, hands-off protection, adding automatic reapplication after updates, ongoing monitoring, and optional notifications to ensure privacy settings remain consistent over time. • Fascinating...W h i t e P o w e r is now also asterisks out.
    • In the past few days I have noticed two odd moderation activities. First, when I posted the term 'White Nationist Christian' it was asterisk's out. When I changed it to **** it was allowed! Second, in the Politics is a ###business thread I was allowed to post that the GOP is a party of p e d ophiles but I was censored  when I posted the GOP are a party of p e d ophile protectors. Wtf Neowin. Please explain.
