i went from 40101 to 40200 and either got absolutely nothing, or it's just doing some crazy invisible thing that i'm not seeing

Good job in trying but it is as I figured it is gonna be hard to find anymore working codes.

No luck so far with getting GT to connect to jabber.org. I set px in the registry to jabber.org and used the HOSTS file to redirect talk.google.com to jabber.org (Ethereal showed GT was still connecting to talk.google.com).

Edit: I just hex-edited Google Talk to use jabber.org without the hosts file. It seems to have the same problems now as with the hosts file (it sends and recieves a total of 9 unknown [to Ethereal] frames of TCP after recieving a starttls from the Jabber server).

Here are all the account parameters in HKLM\Software\Google\Google Talk\Accounts\address I've found:

mailstate - something to do with GMail checking

px - server to connect to (this option is ignored, talk.google.com is used instead)

pt - port to connect to

k - whether to autoreconnect repeatedly if connection fails

ct - don't know

pw - hashed password for remember p/w option

I don't understand what all the excitement is all about. Google talk is lame, does not have many features you can find in other IM, like file transfer, video chat, icons and more.

They still have a lot of work to do on it :|

yes it looks SOOOO plain too :(

Unfortunately while that format works well for a search engine I like my IM to look "pretty" and be customizable...

I like it, its nice and clutter free. MSN (which is my usual IM) is cluttered, full of useless junk (even with APatch) I dont use, the default skin is fugly and its generally an average IM. WIth Gtalk if they add:

- File Transfers

- Multiple people in one conversation

- Emoticons

- Webcam Support

then it will be one awesome IM in my opinion.

Anyone having trouble with the Inbox and Help links at the top of the main window?  They don't do anything at all for me.  The settings Link works, but not the other two.  Any ideas?

i have the same problem, my default browser is maxthon too. buttons worked with IE set as default browser...

how about opera or other browsers? does it work? does anyone got these buttons working with maxthon?

A major compiler is used for both x86/x64 and WoA64 architectures. This also means that all core libraries are re-compiled accordingly which required some changes in the build scripts. One of the core libraries (cURL) has been updated to address vulnerabilities and a nasty linker error that was causing the need for a dedicated patch which could now be eliminated.
