Apple announces iPod nano

Recommended Posts

I just got me an iPod nano.

White because if I get Black I'll have to shine it as much as I do the PSP.

Plus I love white.

I got 2GB, more than enough for me.

Plus my 3gipod (i love the design more) has a battery problem (as expected)

I can't WAIT!!!!!!! AHHH

@myriade, not an oops, Middle East and Japan doesn't have Nano announced yet and mini is still being sold.

I find this very funny:

"The last new feature shown off by Jobs during his presentation was Screen Lock, a feature for, well, locking your iPod?s screen. Like a cheap bike lock, this lock lets you create a four-digit password using numbers from 0 - 9. The interface is nothing but cute, featuring a round combination wheel with four digits above. To move from one digit to another use the Next and Previous buttons. Clicking the Select button also takes you to the next digit and, when you reach the final digit, sets the code. When locked you can pause and play the iPod but nothing more?you can?t even adjust the volume because turning the wheel adjusts the currently selected digit. Even when you reset the iPod it boots back into the Screen Lock scrOne possible flaw in this scheme is that once you?ve set the combination, lock the iPod, unlock it again, and then later return to the Screen Lock screen to switch on the lock, the iPod tells you what the combination isn is."

A little flawed today aren't we:laugh:

--edit--

btw...that's from MacWorld...

Well...I cancelled my order.

I decided that their asking price for a 4gb model (even if it is flash based) is ludicrous. I will wait for a 6gb model to come out (if ever) and then make my purchase, if the price is decent.

I am upset but at least I can rest easier knowing I dont need to pay anybody 270$ :p

Its funny because I just logged into apple.com to send customer support a question, and I found out it was possible to cancel my order...even though apple states that you only have 90 minutes from the purchase time to do so
