Hello

Thank you for completing our nomination survey sometime within the past several

weeks, and letting us know about your interest in participating in the

Microsoft? Office "12" Technical Beta program. We are pleased to announce that

your request for participation in the Office "12" Technical Beta has been

approved.

You will be provided with access to the Office "12" Beta software,

I like the fact they now say in beta emails about not getting the final product ;)

After what happened with Office 11 and that thread on Neowin from so many who didn't get a copy, I am not surprised. I was a lucky top 60, still have my journal, radio/compass and complimentary copy still not used. :)

Office 2003 beta gift :D

    • I spent a good 15 min today trying to get new Outlook to use my default browser instead of forcing links into Edge. That kinda tactic is shady and it sucks.
    • Vivaldi 8.0.4033.42 by Razvan Serea Vivaldi is a cross-platform web browser built for – and with – the web. A browser based on the Blink engine (same in Chrome and Chromium) that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. Vivaldi is produced with love by a founding team of browser pioneers, including former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who co-founded and led Opera Software. Vivaldi’s interface is very customizable. Vivaldi combines simplicity and fashion to create a basic, highly customizable interface that provides everything a internet user could need. The browser allows users to customize the appearance of UI elements such as background color, overall theme, address bar and tab positioning, and start pages. Vivaldi features the ability to "stack" and "tile" tabs, annotate web pages, add notes to bookmarks and much more. • Also try installing an alternative browser on ChromeOS. You have to enable dev mode and run it as a Linux app. Clunky.
    • sometimes in older bios' you had to set a password in order to change the csm settings
    • I've enjoyed Firefoxx64 DE for many years, and Edge doesn't tempt me, and I stopped using Chrome long ago--far too many bugs.
