Office 12 Beta 1 Released

Anyone having a problem with Outlook where it won't let you add a data file for your email accounts? This is the message I keep getting:

"This information service is not installed on your computer"

Any suggestions?

how stable is? uninstaller works correctly?

I've installed it on my main computer, and everything I've found works fine. Perfomance leaves a little to be desired, but I know it's still in beta, and they are working on performance issues now. I think it's a great beta. Glad to be testing it.

i installed it on my main rig also, but had to uninstall it, back to 2003

outlook crashed every 10-20 seconds or so, send few error reports, see what happens.

i have office 12 installed on my notebook now, and for some reason outlooks works

That's odd. Not one crash, not one error to come across while using any of the applications in the suite. Perhaps it's a hardware related issue?

Anyone else find that it gets really annoying trying to find certain options? At least with the drop down menu system I had a rough idea where they where; now I spend ages looking for features.

Office 12 can be installed alongside Office 11. The only limitation is that you can only have 1 copy running at any given time. So if you have Word 12 open, you cannot open Word 11.
