Official Windows Live Messenger Invitations Thread

Recommended Posts

Ok, I've decided to pick the lucky one as my PM box is being trashed by massive messages. DN2004.

Please do not PM any further requests.

Thanks!!! :) Next invite only service thats out.. and i get a invite ;) im sure to send it your way

Is there a way to get invited by someone else to Windows Live Mail? If there is, maybe I'm willing to trade my 1 WLM8 invite for an invite to Windows Live Mail.

My wanting-to-be-live email is dos.mail(at)msn.com

My regular email is henrique(at)gmail.com

Come on guys, we all have a much better chance of getting an invite if you just follow the guidelines, and be patient - rather this what was once organised thread is quickly being ruined; and starting to look like all the other threads about the invites. Look how well this was working before all the begging started. :)

For those whom need reminding, the first post, setting out the guidelines, read -

Please Read These Guidelines BEFORE PM'ing a Member For An Invitation

The invite system for WLM has started and those in the beta have been given 2 invites to start with. Some Neowin members are generous enough to share invites with other people from the board

Please DO NOT Post Here Unless You Are Offering Invites

1. PM the person(s) offering the invites with your name, user name at Neowin, and you country

2. Please wait for a return PM with the link for the invite

People requesting an invitation must be a registered Neowin member with some history here. (Time since registration, number of posts etc.)

Let's try again...

Understand that the invites are not available for every country yet.

To those offering the invites, please try to edit your post to reflect how many invitations you are still willing to give out

?? i've been here for hours abiding the rules trying to get invited decently, but this ppl don't learn!!!!!!

Edit:

@prince21: hey, it's not a noob issue, I'm only here a couple of days registered and I didn't have any problems reading and undestanding the rules. Check all those ppl and you'll notice some not-noobs

In about 30 minutes I'm going to go back to the beginning, and note down every person that has requested in this thread. When I've got all the names down (and it's bound to be endless), I'm going to email them over and over and over again an email with the thread rules. Hopefully this way they will understand the way this thread was supposed to work.

Those wondering what you did to deserve it need look no further.

EDIT: of course, I urge all other people annoyed at this problem to do the same thing. Let's show them what happens when they don't listen

can i get invited too ? if someone wants to do a good action ! please let me know !

And another one.

Is this thread still being moderated? Seems like all the mods have given up and gone home.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
