Official Windows Live Messenger Invitations Thread

Recommended Posts

In about 30 minutes I'm going to go back to the beginning, and note down every person that has requested in this thread. When I've got all the names down (and it's bound to be endless), I'm going to email them over and over and over again an email with the thread rules. Hopefully this way they will understand the way this thread was supposed to work.

Those wondering what you did to deserve it need look no further.

EDIT: of course, I urge all other people annoyed at this problem to do the same thing. Let's show them what happens when they don't listen

lmfao

this is going to far now, seriously. can people not read one post?! I mean I want an invitation as much as the next person, but I'm not posting asking for one, I'd rather wait until someone posts saying they have one, then PM them politely and ask.

If people can't read a forum post, how do they expect to test WLMessenger?

invites for live mail havnt been handed out yet, well at least not to most users, i should think some people who have been in the beta since the start or possibly very special people have already revcieved some invites

yeah, I've been using the Live Mail beta for quite a while now and I can't see any invites.. :(

can I have a gmail account too please ?

LOL, sorry I just couldn't help this one to come out :p

I surely want one too but reading the rules of this thread pointed me the fact that I don't have to post here to ask or beg or anything, for it.

so I guess that means that I MUST NOT POST ASKING FOR ANY INVITE  !!!

maybe this post is clearer :p sorry no offense.

since I don't want to read 20 pages of: "I want one too..." or "Can I have one I'm here since the beginning..." bla bla bla to search for kind inviters. I just say "thank u" for offering us the invites.

I'll just pass and wait for it to b alpha :woot:

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.

    • No thanks! WebView trash is unacceptable. I only use software that's native.
