Intel releases new logo

That is the pretty lame. Intel Inside is much better.

They should focus more on bringing better products to the market instead of lame logos.

I agree. I don't like the new slogan either, the logo is ok though.

If I were in the market to buy a new chip, mainly dual core, I'd go with an AMD X2, not Intel Dual.

I'm not a fan of Intel or AMD, I just like whats better for price-performance ratio.

i think the new logo is really sharp, a clear evolution of the old logo but with a needed "tech" factor.

as far as the slogan, it may very well be the mantra they've got now. they're behind amd right now, this is true... so they need to "leap ahead" with the new products from apple, and the new yonah and conroe processors. the days of the old netburst pentium 4 chips are nearly over, and from what i've read, the new chips they'll be introducing this year will be quite nice indeed.

of course, that's just my $.02

I completely agree. It looks like intel is going to be coming out swinging with their new stuff. I'm excited about the new logo!

The logo looks good but the slogan just make it look terrible. If they really going to use this on all of the Intel machines in the future, I am either not going to buy the machine or buy it and than take that sticker off the machine. Hoping they will not make it also as a boot image too. Hey, AMD and Intel is coming out with something new around 2006, so we will see which company is "leap ahead."

I have to say I really like the new logo. I think the time has come for Intel to rebrand, and the good thing is that they have realised it. I dont like the "Leap Ahead" phrase though, but maybe it will grow on me. Did many people like the whole "Intel Inside" thing when that came out :p?

    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
